The whole Bret/Vince/HBK thing was brilliantly played out on RAW this week i thought. It should be interesting to see where they go with this. I can't wait til next week to see how that progresses.

Honestly, I was underwhelmed by that segment, it just seemed to drag and I found it really boring.

Man it was great. Vince taking the **** out of the crowd was great. Bret got a decent reaction considering he wasn't there. Then you were wondering how Bret would be used.... just with Vince or would HBK be involved.... well we got the answer. Throw in HBK wanting Taker again and Vince saying No an dit had alot of information to take in.

What was interesting was in say 2005/06 the fans would have instantly chanted "You Screwed Bret", instead they chanted "HBK".

I'm glad someone else appreciated it. I thought it was an awesome, old school promo with elements of classic veteran heel HBK. The same heel persona that we saw a glimpse of at Wrestlemania 23 againt Cena.

Absolutely loved the line: "You go ahead and you bring Bret Hart back to the WWE...if you do...I guarantee you...only good things will happen."

I enjoyed the Vince/HBK segment too. Michaels being deliberately vague about the "good things" that will happen, the crowd giving Bret a good reaction (even though he wasn't there).... I liked it.

Something I don't get: why are Rhodes and DiBiase so eager to stay in a group with a guy who threatened to beat the hell out of them and basically called them failures. I assume it's going to lead to a face turn by someone somewhere...

I thought the Vince/Bret when Vince was talking about Stu belong in the Hall of Fame and then kicking Bret in the Nuts 15 seconds later. Kind of a tasteless low blow to Bret.

An "Okay" RAW.  It felt flat in places, good to see Bret back but I didn't think his segments were that good.  Rest of the show was meh, except for Miz's new theme, that's awesome!

What do you mean? Not only was it surreal seeing Bret back in a WWE ring in 2010 but the atmosphere in the arena was amazing. The people knew they were seeing history unfold. I had goosebumps when HBK and Bret Hart stood in the ring together. They probably just "buried the hatchet" earlier that day. Where does Shawn go from here though? It's obvious they have big plans for him leading into Wrestlemania. Now I see why they recruited Hornswoggle to DX - it gives Triple H someone else to play with and be involved in silly skits with.

Bret looked awesome too, especially compared to his HOF appearance in 2006. Looks like he's been working out too. He may be involved in a match afterall.

DX/Jerishow match was exciting. For once it was HBK that was the hot tag and not HHH who got the majority of the beating. Thought Jericho had it won with that roll up.

Orton/Kingston wasn't bad either.

Overall, really enjoyed the show. The crowd was hot the whole night, not just for the Bret segments.

He looked better in himself, no idea whether he's been working out, with what he was wearing, hard to tell, he did look to have a bit of a gut/belly on him though, although a Street Fight doesn't involve proper wrestling attire so thats cool.

I had goosebumps when he first came out, but honestly, after the initial "Wow" feel, I just wasn't into the segments that much.  Burying things with HBK, the bits with Jericho and Vince, to be honest I don't know what I expected, but on the whole I did feel underwhelmed.

Yeah, but do remember this wasn't a one off appearance. If it was I would understand were you're coming from. If they had everything you wanted on the show tonight, it would be like TNA, (overbooked) and in a few weeks all interest would be lost. They covered enough things for one night imo. Can't wait to see what happens next and when he'll show up again.

No doubt I'm looking forward to things, but as a show on the whole I just wasn't that into it.

Cool to see Bret and Michaels (Poison reference FTW) shake hands. Didn't know if there was going to be a swerve of some kind there. Hopefully that's them put everything behind them now....

Vince kicking Bret kinda killed the mood at the end a bit but let's see where it goes. Wonder if they'll involve Michaels much in this feud....

The crowd were good, which was helpful. Nothing worse than a dead crowd when they're trying to do something big.

The show gets extra points from me for Jericho mocking Hogan and Bret calling Vince "Vinnie". ;D

Liked the Bret bits. Probally won't be a better opening on RAW this year. HBK and Bret were brilliant. Crowd were really into the Bret bits too which is great to see.

The rest of the show was ok.... but then thats what Vince does when someone challenges him. He likes to win without even trying. I thought the matches were average (DX-Jerishow was better than that) but some of the storytelling is getting quite good

Sad to see Jericho gone from RAW, he really added something to it. Personally i think he's the best thing going in WWE at the moment and has been for the whole 2009
