creative probably weren't chopping at the bit at the prospect of Luke Gallows being on 2 shows.

Those bastards! :fu:

I've liked the Bret angle so far, but TBH he looked a bit 'lost' at the end of Raw. Which is understandable, seeing that he hasn't had match in over ten years and is in his 50s. Hopefully he'll be better prepared come WM.

Punk is good and I like the Straight Edge Society angle, but all the raising of the right arm and talk of a Propaganda Minister is slightly worrying.... :P

Hammy mentioned Carlito and I was also quite shocked he didn't get kicked. Could this be the start of a push??

I also actually LOLed when Jerry Lawler said "Look at how happy he looks" when Teddy Long was shown looking very emotionless at ringside. :hihi:

The guest host wasn't too bad either I thought.
Well you say Bret looked "uncomfortable", he was looking good until he nearly took himself out pulling equipment which nearly landed on him and knocked him on his ass, that aside it was a very good segment, clearly a mirror image of what he did after Survivor Series 1997 went off air.

I was convinced Teddy Long was going to interfere to help the Tag Titles land on some Smackdown guys.  He looked so upset and down, he had the face on he had when he had to screw Undertaker out of the title, when he did nothing I couldn't understand why he'd been such a miserable bastard, maybe it was the thought of being superkicked later, or should I say, selling the effects of a superkick later.

Carlito, a push....I hope so, he's so talented yet always seems to screw things up.  He needs a repackaging of sorts, I liked that braided look that emerged on t'internet a few years ago...

DiBiase/Kingston was short wasn't it? I was texting someone and I looked up just in time to see DiBiase hit his finisher on Kingston and pin him....

Overall a very bad show, the Springer segment was one of the worst segments I've ever seen.  And the lack of HBK was telling, I also didn't like the Bret Hart stuff.

I thought RAW this week was good. Its hard to argue against the end of brands when you have a good show with guys like Jericho, Taker, & Edge on the show. If it went to 3 hours every week then you could do it i believe.

I thought the Big Show/Miz stuff was funny as hell.

The Undertaker/HBK was special... and i mean special. I can't wait to watch them in the build up to Mania.

Jericho's opening promo was vintage Jericho... Brilliant.

Even the Cena/Vince/Batista stuff was interesting.

The two MITB qualifying matches were baffingly short, but the HHH/HBK and Cena/Batista promos were good I though. People complain that there's too much talking but that doesn't really bother me if it's as good as those two segments. I'm fairly enjoying heel Batista. "You're a funny guy, you amuse me..." :hihi: Plus, I didn't have to look at Zack Ryder's bizarre outfit for too long. :D

Why did the announcers stay quiet during Sheamus's beatdown of HHH? It would help put over how devasting it is. It could have used that, since really, all it was was a couple of clotheslines and boots to the face....

Didnt watch RAW but the various sites I trawled thru at work suggested it was bafflingly poor

How TNA cant seem to capitalise is beyond me - oh wait, its because TNA has equally poor ideas

Quality promos, decent show, matches were lacking though, as mentioned the qualifiers were very short, Ryder is obviously not thought highly of.

Is Orton turning face then?  It certainly looked that way, and he cleared the ring of his lackeys too easily if you ask me, they have to go over at the end of this angle to benefit in any way from this angle/stable.

WOW, with WM so close.. I can't believe how terrible Raw was.. When a show becomes a serious chore to follow, it makes me wonder why i even bother.

My GF doesn't watch wrestling at all but she watched the first 30 mins of Impact with me and at no time was she bored or wanted me to change it......

I only got to watch first 30 mins cause i had to go to a party

but nonetheless Raw is so horrible.. even the HBK/HHH in ring segment was hard to sit through and the Batista stealing Kevin Nash's I only do it for the money thing was horrendously bad.

Don't get me started on the Vince/bret thing..... just terrible

Orton seems unnervingly popular with live crowds recently. What face-like qualities does he have?!

Isn't it to an extent the nature of things since the Attitude Era, that sadistic guys who kicks ass is uber popular....

When commentators get team names wrong, constantly like MizShow, when its ShoMiz, even their TitanTron has it, as minor as it is, you just think they pay no attention to the product, it cheapens things, Lawler, retire already!

I'm going off Sheamus quickly, seeing him battle with Triple H just made me realise he isn't even in his league.

I'm losing interest in The Legacy split too, I just don't care about Rhodes and DiBiase at the moment.

The opening was great, 'Taker and Michaels were golden, as always.

The guest host was pointless, the main event was naff, not the best of episodes.

Simply put - Cody Rhodes is awful

that lisp - a wrestler has to be cool, the old adage that 'guys want to be them, girls want to be with them' rings true - no one wants to be Cody Rhodes!

Dibiase could have been huge - but his face turn should have been 6 months ago - he's peaked

As for Sheamus - it was a gimmick giving him the belt so soon - and a long run could have clinched the deal, now the rugs been pulled from under him

I'm not sure what it is about Rhodes but he just seems weak especially when you put him in contrast with Dibiase and Orton.  Is Orton getting cheered because people genuinely like him or is it because the other 2 guys are that unlikable?

Sheamus--they should have built him up slowly instead of giving him the belt so quickly.  That plus once he got the belt he should have been put in the Main Event on Raw more.  It seemed like he was on the first hour of the show a lot.  He should also put on a shirt when he wrestles.  His pale complexion is distracting.

A better show this week, but still not wonderful.  The final segment seemed awkward, actually, Bret Hart seemed awkward, he just didn't seem at all comfortable, on the whole he hasn't since he returned, its a shame.

The best match was Jericho vs. Michaels, shame they cut it short with a cheap finish.
