The Rock was hilarious, his mocking of John Cena was a classic moment....

Just saw the Rock's return and I must say I did not see that coming and I was like hell yeah the Rock is back where he belongs in the WWE doing what he does best running his mouth and laying the smacketh down on some those jarbroni wannbe superstars on the WWE roster! Maybe just maybe the WWE fans will forget John Sucena.!!

To be honest WWE needs the Rock more than the Rock needs the WWE, this is a good fit for everyone!

The Rock coming back should certainly become known as a classic Raw moment for sure. I'm not sure if he actually means it when he says he's never going away but it was a great moment regardless. :D

If this all leads to a Cena heel turn, even better. :partytime:

This has kinda got me thinking; people can moan about how they wish there was more focus on wrestling and mock the term "sports entertainment" and yada yada yada, but the general consensus around the interwebs seems to be that The Rock's segment on Raw was awesome, and there was zero wrestling involved. I think that's people want, unique, entertaining personalities who can pull off a promo like that (and there are very few who could use the phrase "Barney the Dinosaur's anus" and make it sound that funny ;D). Obviously the wrestling's important, but we want to be entertained don't we?

I'm not so fond of Rocky's new remixed theme though. :undecided:

Great Raw Moment having the Rock back.

Lets hope he sticks around for a while, Smart money says he'll be gone after Mania!

I'd love to see Cena vs Rock

The Rock was great.  Only been watching wrestling for a few years but that was the best promo I've seen.  Awesome stuff.  Don't think he will really stick around.  Cena v Rock at 'Mania.  If Rock loses he goes again............................. back to Hollywood making movies.  And a Cena heel turn?  Could be good for this storyline!!

RAW had some really enjoyable segments last night.

The New Nexus vs Randy Orton stuff was solid, I like the feud in many ways, just gutted to see the group get disbanded like this.

Ziggler and Morrison had a decent match.

Undertaker's promo and Shawn Michaels 2nd interview were nice touches in the build to the 'Mania bout.

JBL returning and Austin showing up was really fun, great pop and JBL's and Cole's facial reactions were priceless, especially Cole when he got covered in beer.

The closing segment was my favourite part though, Cena has really upped his game in this back and forth with The Rock, he's clearly been given a bit more free reign with his promos again, and having The Miz show up, crash the party and address The Rock was the icing on the cake, not only is it a great build but it has people looking forward to the next appearance of The Rock.

Only managed to watch Raw tonight. :P I'm going to try and keep up with WWE better, the last few weeks have a been a bit erratic....

Seeing JBL and Austin was cool. Austin doesn't really have to do all that much but it's still great to see him on TV. :D

Cena's promo probably would've worked better if the crowd had been a bit more awake. Though I'm guessing references to thigns such as a 'pearl necklace' might have been lost on a few of them.... :P

Agree with Hammy, Cole's reaction to Austin pouring beer on him was classic.

She is from Jersey Shore. To be honest she was better than the majority of hosts i've seen.

She is like 3 foot tall but seems confortable on the mic and certainly didn't hold back during her action segments. Whether she should steal a Mania spot is another matter but then you could say that for a number of celebrities at Mania

Some good stuff on RAW this week in terms of build up. Just wish the Rock would turn up to the **** arena a few more times. He just looks stupid IMO.

She was better than most hosts but a better match for the big event would be Dolph vs JoMo in say...a Ladder Match.

The Rock was great as usual, but not turning up does make him look a bit stupid.

Obviously many of the fans weren't there for the Attitude Era, you could of heard a pin drop when Grand Master Sexay showed up, a collective...Who?  I thought crowd response aside his stuff with Jerry was very good.  I'm surprised we haven't got training vignettes of Swagger with Cole.  Vignettes aren't used nearly enough these days.

New Nexus...now Dead Nexus?  Its quite similiar to the Spirit Squad burial.  I mean essentially Husky, Hennig, Otunga and Ryan have been punted back to FCW...right?  Question is who makes it back to the roster, if any of them.

I agree, the Cole/King feud would be way cooler with vignettes like Vince used to do when he'd fight Austin, HBK, etc.

3 Stand out segments for me.

Punk/Orton, Triple H/HBK/Taker and Cena/Miz/Rock.

Interesting though that as the show goes off the air its Cena and Rock staring each other down.  It really is all about them.  The question going is, is not Cena vs Miz who will win, it is now will The Rock seek revenge and cost Cena the match, nobody cares who Cena is facing.

Fave of the 3 segments was the Trips ones, with him telling Shawn, tell him why I'll win and Shawn just leaving, I loved that bit, this should be (but won't be) the Main Event.

Solid last Raw before WM.  Obviously the "wrestling" took a back seat for the show.  The 3 segments as mentioned above were obviously the stand out bitsand, for me, the ending with Cena coming from behind to give the AA to Rock was a good moment, giving Cena a little "heel" moment.

I can see where Hammy is coming from regarding Rock seeking revenge but he could also look to seek revenge on The Miz for the beatdown.  There'll be some interference somewhere and I can't wait to see how it pans out.

Didn't like the HHH/Taker segment at all. HBK took a lot of the spotlight off them, plus it make HHH look weak as hell going into the match.
