The Cobra Strikes!  Awesome!  Poor Zach Ryder though, he really will be a jobber for life.

Yeah, I think Santino is funny and he was getting a big crowd reaction, but why is he on Team Raw?? He's a comedy guy, and you have a match between him and Zack 'Tool' Ryder with one of them getting on the team? Either someone is taking him out and replacing him or Team Smackdown will have a jobber/comedy guy on their team (one of The Dudebusters??).

The Cena/Nexus stuff is still good, I'm amazed that despite a few small instances - and the fact that they seem to lose a member every couple of weeks - this angle has been pretty consistently good since it started. :) Agree that Cena needs a t-shirt though. Perhaps that'll be introduced soon as part of his 'indoctrination'. Surely WWE can go a little while without Cena t-shirt merch money??

Oh yah, Michael Cole is still GM of Raw. 8)

Did some of the Smackdown roster get lost on the way to the ring.  Backstage when Teddy Long mentions they have the whole roster there as back-up Hawkins, Archer, Dudebusters walk past him, later when the "Whole roster" (I hate it when they say that anyway, Kane, Undertaker anyone??) makes its way out to ringside, they are nowhere to be seen.  Now I understand they had the battle royal planned and wanted an even number on either side and didn't want things overcrowding, but why show them backstage earlier?

I skipped that part but I also hate when they say the whole roster is there and not all the top superstars are at ringside.

Good thing they don't have as many RAWs in Canada now as there were going in 1997 with the USA vs Canada thing going on since R-Truth can't attend any of the shows, his criminal record stops him getting into Canada.  Seemed Alex Riley got the "Stand-In" role.  Did they even explain Truth's absence on the show, I don't remember hearing any mention, I had to find out online.

I was wondering where the hell he was too. All they did was show some promo video and after it Cole mentioned Truth was on Team Raw. That was about it.

What's this about 'elitists' criticising WWE? They played like a 5-minute video bigging themselves up. What's the backstory here? :weightlifting:

EDIT: I've just seen it's all to do with Linda's campaign and people making accusations about WWE. Meh. Bring on the Buried Alive Match!

Yeah that **** whose son killed himself needs to take some personal responsibility.

steroids didn't kill his son, the anti depressants he was on points to the fact the kid was troubled.

Kid was a baseball player, so knowing people like that, his dad probably pressured the hell out of him to be a "STAR" and tried reliving past glories through his son. When his son couldn't live up, he tried steroids, when that didn't work, kid felt like a failure and killed himself.

So instead of the Dad taking personal responsibility for riding his son and putting unrealistic expectations on him, let's blame steroids.  typical bullshit.

So looks like Wade is gonna win eh? I really wanted to see Cena really be a part of the nexus and beat down on people.. Maybe if Wade gets the title the raw locker room will be mad for what he did and they beat down cena and nexus will come down and save him, then get him to join.

"The Manchester United"? :P

That Santino/Kozlov/Sheamus segment was actually highly amusing. Santino and Kozlov got two of the biggest pops of the night.

This 'can only win by pinfall or submission' stipulation (didn't that used to be called a No DQ Match?) is making me think we're gonna see a Montreal Screwjob kind of ending to the Orton/Barrett match. It is at Survivor Series after all....

Yeah THE Manchester United, WTF was that?  On a sidenote I was rooting for the heel diva's to win as I'm a Liverpoool supporter.  The way the Bellas win their tag matches is getting boring however.

Santino/Koslov/Sheamus was very funny and had me laughing.  Sheamus did really well to keep a straight face............ish I thought.

My opinion on Cole is changing slightly, the way he gets the crowd reaction is pretty good and he is doing a good job.

Really liked the old school RAW.  Good to see the old set, the cool old intro with the new stars, the blue ring steps, Mean Gene doing interviews like he used to, the "Rhodes" family segment, Slick showing up.  True guys like Snuka, Slaughter etc. get overused as legends, I could do without them.  Some like Piper though, are great, and useful, he is still a wonderful talker, as long as he doesn't wrestle its all good.  Breath of fresh air having JR do commentary, even though Cole did try and ruin it in an attempt to get over his heel character.  Oh and Sexual Chocolate, haha, classic.

- Below are some more reactions to last night?s ?old school? RAW:

Justin Roberts: ?Livin the Dream. Tonight was surreal. Honored to be out there w the legends. Perfect way to end a great tour of The US, Canada & Europe.?

Natalya: Mae Young told Laycool tonight!!! I can?t believe how adorable she was! Laycool didn?t know what they got themselves into:) hilarious!?

Mick Foley: ?How cool was it to see JR back on Raw? Great job by Cole and King too. ?Bland leading the bland? an all time classic! Awesome promo by the Hot Rod, too! Good to see so many of the old-school guys at one time on the same stage.?

Joey Styles: ?JR, King and Cole should be Raw?s 3 man announce team. JR no selling Cole?s insults while King tries not to laugh is great television. For the record, Mae Young called Lay-Cool ?****? and ?****?. Who?s gonna fine an 87 year old woman? There is only one Mae Young. LMAO!?

The Iron Sheik: ?Slick is my best manager like my agent, he know hulk hogan piece of **** no good motherf***er. f*** the santino too?
