Just seemed like the same we have been getting for weeks now, a few, very few good spots, and in the main a poor show, nothing too different.

I liked The Legacy tension and HBK's answer machine message had me laughing out loud, nice Miz promo to hype what should be a decent match, that aside, I didn't like much else.

Few random thoughts.....

Did anyone else think enough of Jericho's body was in to break the count?  Does it have to be your whole ENTIRE body?

Does anybody else think with Beth AND Mickie going to Smackdown the RAW "Divas" scene is completely doomed, especially since they were replaced with the generic Bellas and Eve and the normally talented Melina who botched her re-debut on the brand?

Now they are on the same show can we get that one decent Divas feud possible in the company, Beth vs. Natalya?

I know its television and matches are shorter, but MVP, Bourne and Mickie were all pretty much squashed weren't they?

Since its the DX Army and BG James is unemployed couldn't they just....ah nevermind!

Am I the only one who wishes Chavo would stop telling everyone he is a Guerrero right before he is made to look like a fool?

Why did The Legacy act like they had to fight in the Main Event?  Why didn't Orton keeping tagging back out or just get himself counted out, or why didn't his goons do that?  This storyline makes sense when there is something on the line, a title shot, but when its just  match with no reward besides a "W" in the win column it seemed strange/oddly booked, I like the brewing problems in the stable but its a wacky way of going about it no doubt.

Is brand supremacy that important/special when you are all part of the same company and at some point have probably been a part of every team/brand?

Does ECW's roster feel annoyed?  Will they respond this week to their absence from the match?

No.

A 7 vs. 7 match, its it an elimination match or 1 fall to a finish?  Surely if its 1 fall thats a bit boring right?

Oh and Carlito and Primo called, they'll do anything they just want television time, they are also wondering why the hell they were split up!

There are millions who are staunchly defeing www now, I can't figure out why

though maybe, just maybe people are beginning to grow tired

Vince freely admits it's not quality he's after - just revenue. But, would a good show make more money? Why is an awful show easier and more profitable? The writers get paid the exact same for writing something good! How does it cost more to write coherant ideas?!

You'd think that means now its a given Cena is winning sunday right?

RAW was much improved!

A guest host i knew of!

Katie Vick reference!

Yet more Triple H in jokes

DX burying talent (embarassing Kingston?)

Shawn Michaels forgetting his lines - 'i know who he is....er.....*please God, line!*'

Raw had it all!

Linda - please, first act as senator - ban WWE!

....and does Triple H now just run Raw on a whim? I expect him to just change the show's name, fire Vince or just breakdance at any time....

I can't believe no one mentioned Marty Jannetty! Obviously the highlight of Raw. Shame his amazing talents are still going to waste.

Because he wasn't good last night.

Looking older, heavy round the middle, he seemed to limp/skip to the ring and he did all his signature moves in what seemed to be slow motion/clumsy fashion, definately nothing like he was when he returned for the Kurt Angle storyline.  More like the ropey version I remember from the Kennedy storyline.

Alternatively you could be joing right?  I missed the sarcasm?

Actually no, I was serious.  :hihi:

Definitely looked a little older for sure. And there may have been a little ring rust but thats natural as he doesn't wrestle at all these days. The dudes almost 50 so all things considering he did a damn good job. If only he was given a better opponent and more ring time.

I still think he's more entertaining than most of the RAW roster...which probably isn't saying much though.

Its the nostalga pop, someone you haven't seen in ages, you think wowza, cool, trust me, if he stuck around within a few weeks you'd be yelling fire him!

It happens to me all the time; "You what, Tatanka is back?  Great, I used to love him, and he has signed a contract, fantastic".

Few weeks later, sack him!

I mean seriously I have an endless list of guys I haven't seen on wrestling programming in years from Buff Bagwell to Sean O'Haire, but chances are within a week of their return I'd be calling for them to get the boot, most guys get to a certain age and they just don't have it anymore, random nostalga pop cameos are cool, permanent resisdence on the roster, not cool!

Speaking of cool, and not cool, Carlito is like the only one on the RAW roster not getting any tv time right?

True, but the main difference between Jannetty and those guys you mentioned is that Jannetty actually can wrestle....and very well infact. At least in my opinion anyways. Just checked he's 47. If he really wanted to he could earn himself a contract and get a Finlay like role..thing is he just doesn't have the work ethic these days...speaking of Carlito...he's like the modern day Jannetty more than anyone if you think about it.

In principle he is, he is way more talented charisma wise, for all his wrestling Jannetty sucks talking.

And yeah he can wrestle, alright, for his age, but there are guys better and younger, like I said before, the 2005 version of him was the perfect balance of veteran who can still go, on last nights showing I don't even think he was any good.

I liked Raw this week for the most part. The Cena/HHH match was good and Cena losing six days before the PPV was unexpected. I was sure there was going to be some interference but Cena lost clean....

The Orton/DiBiase segment was good too and hopefully it leads somewhere good. I reckon Ted could be a pretty good face. The crowd seemed genuinely behind him when he was getting in Orton's face. He was getting a pretty loud pop.

Even Snoop Dogg surpassed my (fairly low) expectations. He seems to have at least some sort of knowledge of the show, or at least, that's what I thought. That 'technical difficulties' bit made me smile. ;D

Plus, for the WWE game, Melina rectified Kevin Nash's failure at the TNA PPV with a title defence! :D

PS. I know they had DX and Rhodes arguing, but they didn't seem to really put across the fact that at the last PPV, DX locked Rhodes in HIAC and knocked him unconscious.... :P

Did my ears deceive me or was the chant "Lets go Teddy"  :hihi:

I liked his spear, kudos to Chavo for making it look good, because for such a short distance spear it looked pretty brutal.

"DiBiase" has the same number of syllables and sounds much better than that. :D
