The ads for the UK Wrestlemania Revenge tour had Bret Hart saying he'd be on it, but apparently he'll only be at one or two shows. I was thinking about getting tickets for the Glasgow show but I'm not so sure now. Still might get them, even if he won't be there. I've never been a massive Bret Hart fan, but when else are you gonna see him?? Actually, I've grown to like him more since he came back to do this angle. I always had this sort of image of him of as bitter and not wanting to move on, but obviously that's not the case.

*ponders whether to buy tickets or not*

What's the card supposed to be like?  That should tip the scales one way or the other.  If it's a loaded card, you should go.

The only match I know of is Cena/HHH. That's the match that Bret was supposed to be the enforcer for. The arena website has him listed, so I'm not really sure. I got tickets yesterday so I'll just have to wait and see.

Should be fun anyway, haven't been to a WWE show in five years.

Raw this week was okay - didnt really got too choked up about Michaels SECOND retirement

Certainly seemed heartfelt though - thought Undertaker tipping his hat was a fantastic moment, such a shame in all other areas WWE is determined to tell us its all fake

Raw this week was okay

I thought that it was an excellent RAW. The HBK stuff was good and the farewell speech was great.

But even the Bret/Shomiz stuff was good.

Add to that the Sheamus attack and even the Cena/Batista stuff was entertaining. The the reaction to Orton being named Cena's partner was amazing too.... and those RKO's were incredible.

one of the better RAWs
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry, You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath

Kinda hard to buy Orton's face turn...

It kinda is an indictment of how shitty Legacy are when they TRY to turn them face and actually turn Orton face in the process cause people know Legacy suck ****.

Its hysterical, just hysterical - i'm amazed the smark sites havent made more of this

Regardless,

Orton is so over - I've always despised him and yet right now - he's my fav wrestler, the whole vibe he has going is intoxicating. I pray WWE dont blow this - but you could have a truly epic run from this, the crowd actually like someone for once - and its not the Cena half love him/half boo him nonsense

Book Orton against a heel - I'm thinking Batista and see where you go.

Orton is actually intresting - keep his mouth shut and play on that intensity

Well, he won this week, so he'll probably end up feuding with someone over the Million Dollar Title, which even though it's not a proper title, at least gives him something to do....

True, I just thought they'd have had bigger plans for him to be honest.

I think they were originally planning on turning him face, but since that failed, they're not quite sure what to do with him.

Really felt the brand split with BOTH champions having a nice chin wag

I'm actually missing the brand split - atleast it gave character and ensured I could avoid certain wrestlers...

Wow, Bret was at Glasgow! That was a nice surprise, I only thought he was at certain shows but he was the enforcer for the Cena/Sheamus main event. He stopped Sheamus from hitting Cena with a chair, then counted the fall after Sheamus knocked the original ref out.

Quote of hte night was from William Regal. "It always nice to be here in Glasgow. I'm lying of course, I'd rather be in Iraq." :hihi: He said they were more civilized there.

There was also a new guy, Dos Caras I think he was called, who had a match with Evan Bourne.

Apparently Chris Masters is a heel again, he did a Masterlock Challenge which was answered by Hornswoggle. Masters shoved him about a bit, but ended up getting Tadpole Splashed.

Was tempted to go to one of these shows, would have been nice to see Bret

ironically house shows are better than the live showings due to the endless ad breaks and pauses, grrr!

Dos Caras is that former MMA fighter that was signed by WWE. He wears a mask or something. Was he any good?

He was alright from what I remember. But since he was facing Bourne, he spent the match trying to keep him grounded, slow him down etc. He didn't wear a mask though, Apparently he's not worn it for a few shows on this tour.

I've been lucky really. Managed to see the likes of Eddie, Benoit, Austin, Angle, Michaels and now Bret live, many of whom I likely won't get the chance to again, and of course, some who I definitely won't.....  The one guy I haven't gotten to see yet is The Undertaker.
