So... I wonder how they're going to explain Mysterio's absence? Are they really going to acknowledge on TV that he's been suspended? I think the only guy they've done that with is Jeff Hardy and even then, it was when he returned to TV. I don't remember what happened the first time but the second time - around Wrestlemania 24 - he just disappeared off TV with no explanation and mentioned his suspension when he came back.

Also, I have to say, I'm quite enjoying Mike Knox's mad medical..... musings which they show before his matches. Gives him a bit of character.

Good smackdown this week....but when you look at the crowd...there are more kids there than your typical school

Its been years since we've seen anyone go through an announce table

Have to say Taker v Punk is an odd choice - Punk doesnt need a win over Taker and Taker doesnt need the belt

I'd have though Taker vs Hart Dynasty might have made more sense

You what?  That would be HUGE for him, I do agree though Taker doesn't need the belt, so Punk for the win, although in WWE Game terms, Taker for the win!  :Yay:

I know its PG, but come on, Mr Ziggles, thats classic switch the channel stuff if anyone walks in the room  :-[  Heck if I walked in and saw someone watching that I'd take the ****.

Nice new look for Haas, shame he is still jobbing, still a damn good wrestler though.

Cryme Tyme having the same match for the 4th time in about the last 6 weeks, I know the tag division is thin, but come on!

The camera phone angle backstage was awful, so Maria doesn't watch Smackdown then...

Punk and 'Taker's opening exchange was great!  Long may the feud continue!

R-Truth got attacked from behind again, come on R-Truth, keep your wits about you!

R-Truth is turning into a sort of reverse Shawn Stasiak.

And when Morrison said "How about...Mr. Ziggles?" the first time, I thought it was funny. :hihi:

Not so much. :)

Haven't read spoiler so I don't know what happens on SD, but I expect we're getting some kind of heel turn from that referee in the Punk/Undertaker match?? Or something like that. I don't even know that guy's name....

Lol @ the absurd Russo-esque Undertaker/Long bit

Strange that those kinds of daft bits made wrestling huge - and now they just look.....daft

WWE has such contempt for the audience - that Limo scene was clearly multiple takes....unless the magic camera REALLY is magic

Vince immedietly boosts interest in a show - he needs to be a presence every week

...though leave the writing to others may be best

I unfortunately fear he is going to be the one behind the screwjob conspiracy, they seem to keep hinting at it.

Teddy and the ref saying they did it to keep their jobs, Punk pointing at Vince backstage and looking puzzled when he talked about the conspiracy as if he wasn't a part of it.

Not the best of shows this week.

I'd be happy if Vince or Shane was behind it. Yeah its been done before but its better than Vince being face and bumming DX.

My only disapointment is that its happening on SD. SD was running along quite nicely based more on the wrestling as where for me RAW is dying a slow death. I wouldn't be against Vince heading up a heel stable on RAW.... but leave SD alone.

Vince is odd - one week he's teaming up with DX, a few weeks later, he's on SD yelling at Teddy Long and insulting the audience. Is he a face or heel or what??

Why exactly are DX appearing on the SD 10th Anniversary Show?? HHH I can understand, but you could probably count on one hand the number of appearances Michaels has made on the show....

Exactly. Its disrespectful to the guys on SD who won't get to appear now IMO. I thought HBK couldn't possibly be on SD because of some silly excuse.
