Another good episode, still remaining strong as the "A-Show", the Kane stuff is goofy, but that aside I think everyone is developing quite well.

The Alberto Del Rio vignettes are some of the best done in a long time, simple yet effective, I have no idea whether he'll be any good in the ring, but as a character he is doing well already.

Dolph Ziggler renewed pushed continues and heck I'm enjoying it a lot, forget the IC Title, I wouldn't mind seeing him grab the MITB Briefcase.

Drew has probably had the best 2 matches of his WWE career on back to back weeks, its not that he is getting that much better, he is just being put with decent people.

Kane hasnt been a good character in 8 years and has been a jobber for  what 5 years except for battle royals. This big bad man cashes in the case against a mexican midget after the midget is beaten up. Even in a World Title win they make Kane look weak IMO. It ovious he put out the UT and the fued will start, Summer is almost over and its time for the UT to come back it makes sense in that way, but anything else I think is stupid,

His character is stale.
He doesn't sell merch
He isnt too over with Fans.

Atleast with Rey it made sense, he had the fans and could sell the merch and can wrestle, why after all these years of jobbing him out to put the world title on him. He caan't cut a good promo, he moves decent in ring for a big man, I guess I am not smart enough to understand this move. Hell Next week Hacksaw Jim Duggan will come back and win the IC belt from Kofi,

I've been liking Jack Swagger more and more recently. After that initial ultra-serious persona after he won the title for the first time, he seems to have lightened up slightly, which I think works. Shame then that they keep having him lose. :( I hope he doesn't drop down back the card now, he's been good for the past few months.

I'd heard that the mystery member of the SES was supposed to be Joey Mercury, but I didn't think he was that small. Apparently I was wrong. :P And am I the only one who was reminded of Phil Anselmo when Punk came out?

Yeah Swagger is doing well at the moment, shame he seems to have been bumped out of the title picture, do we really want ANOTHER Mysterio vs Kane match/feud, there last one went on far too long.  Also I liked Kane's intensity in his promo, the that aside it was awful, I hate the stupid background music they have its so goofy it ruins the whole damn thing.

Mercury was never massive, but remember he was next to someone billed as 7'4 (I say billed because some weeks he's 7'0)  :D  Hopefully another tag team now, Mercury & Gallows to add to the division.  Speaking of teams, where the heck were Hawkins & Archer, they are two of my favourite workers at the moment, get them on television, pronto!

Cody Rhodes keeps getting better by the week, that backstage vignette, awesome, this dude is a STAR!

Dolph Ziggler winning a non-title match again, not good, probably means he loses the title match and once again doesn't get the elusive IC Title, I hope I'm wrong.

Rosa Mendes.....why?

LayCool, I'm a fan, a gimmick that after all these years gives Michelle McCool personality  :o

Matt Hardy and Christian, so who is turning heel?

What was with the editing during the Swagger/Mysterio match? We saw Rey getting thrown into that rail in the crowd twice and at another point, Swagger had Rey over his shoulder and it cut to both of them nowhere near each other. 0_o

And why did they censor Ziggler getting thrown into the table and the barricade? They didn't censor the No DQ Match....

No Jack Swagger? He's been in the World Title picture the last few months and now he doesn't get in the show? Is he in a match at Summerslam at all??

CM Punk is coming across a right bastard. :D The crazed cult leader thing is working really well. I think the SES could even have a couple more members join to increase his 'power' or whatever.

That Women's Title breaking in half was so fake-looking. :hihi: WWE legislation says that because the title broke in two they can keep on calling themselves co-champions? :weightlifting:

Oh yeah, Striker needs to stop singing along to people's entrance music....

Swagger and Christian probably were not on the show because they taped two shows in one night. There were a lot of people who appeared one week and did not appear the next based off the last two episodes.

Just noticed Tyler Reks is still on the Smackdown Roster page, seriously?  I thought he'd been fired long since...

I actually liked Kane's promo on SD this week. Coulda done without the generic 'evil' music though, too cheesy for me. I wonder how many kids watching were confused as to why Kane had a mask on when they showed that old stuff. :P Though were they trying to claim that it was Taker who caused Kane to unmask? I know he ripped off the mask at Summerslam 2000 but no one saw his face.....

I'm loving Alberto Del Rio already. ;D His debut seemed like an 'event', and the clean win over Mysterio (by submission no less :o) was unexpected. Any man who wears a scarf to the ring is alright with me.

Cody Rhodes' new gimmick is growing on me too. It's so over-the-top (who the hell uses the word 'dashing' nowadays? :P) I can't help but like it.

So a very good SD this week I thought.

The giant sand timer in WWE ran out of sand - so it's time for Taker V Kane again

Why not introduce a new face as the attacker - would be a huge boost for someone to come in with that on his CV. How does this fued help anyone? Suppose we haven't seen a 1v1 HIAC between them...

Am I the only one who thinks all the prolonged Kane laughter sounds a bit goofy? It's starting to remind me of the Outro to Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish album....

I like Smackdown a lot, but this is the one person who always has me fast forwarding, I really can't watch Kane promo's.  The lighting, the laughing, the demon talk, it's a load of crap!

Matches advertised for SmackDown?s October 1st debut on SyFy include Wade Barrett vs. John Cena with Nexus as Lumberjacks, Randy Orton vs. Sheamus and Kane vs. Undertaker.

Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio is confirmed and there has been talk of having a big interbrand tag team match with the top champions from each show facing each other. The show will air live next Friday from the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.
