Festus Luke sounds pretty normal when he speaks. Bah, the illusion is ruined! He's just a regular guy in camouflage shorts. Who seems very close to CM Punk...

Anyway, I was surprised at the ending of the Jerishow/Cryme Tyme match. Hot tag leads to Shad being KTFO after about five second in the ring? Guess they still want to put over Show's punching power, even though it's a TLC Match...

I don't know whether I like Striker as announcer or not. He's usually good at calling moves etc. but he doesn't need to tell us that the rules state that a pinfall stops if a wrestler touches the ropes and other technical stuff. We know dammit!

I'm waiting for the Cult of Punk.

The Straight Edge Stable.

He needs to recruit and brainwash like Undertaker did.  Or "Save" people was it where.

Seems they are going ahead with babyface Escobar, can't see it working.

I'm likining Gallows and his finisher, The 12th Step, Gallows Pole! aka Baldo Bomb/Derailer.

Did Morrison cut himself with his own sword?

- John Morrison = least convicning Scotsman ever. :P  (Actually, I'm kinda surprised that that's not the gimmick they gave McIntyre....)

- I like the crazy cult leader type thing they've got going with Punk, but I wonder how Straight Edge people feel about being described as having a "holier than thou" attitude....

- Escobar better work as a face as I've got him in the next WWE game. Hopefully Vickie's done putting him in squash matches by next year.

I don't think they are typecasting everyone who is straight edge, he isn't a heel because he's straight edge, its because he thinks being straight edge makes him better than everyone else, its upto people who are straight edge if they feel like that to.  I still say give him a stable.  :steelchair:

Course she has, he is heading for "Future Endeavours" when they realise he is as over as a face as he was as a heel, although to be honest I was shocked seeing how many moves he got in on Jericho, they gave off the "If this wasn't made a handicap match he could well have won" vibe.

Also, random criticism.  Post Main Event, when Batista was about to crush Mysterio's throat, the commentators were talking calmly like it was nothing, have we really come that far?  They should of sold it....

....I'm also not sure if I like Striker having a name for EVERYONE (and it changes EVERY week), although its amusing at times, Santa from the Block was the latest this week  ;D

Yeah, but I think it was Striker, who when explaining what 'Straight Edge' is (which he does every so often :P) said that it's almost a "holier than thou" attitude. He's a teacher dammit! He should know more about these punk subcultures!

:hihi: I love how the game makes people fans of the worst wrestlers around.  He has comedy Royal Rumble Elimination Inside 5 Seconds written all over him, assuming he is still employed by then.

I remember that Striker explanation actually, maybe he is right, I remember when I used to smoke on the school bus there was a straight edge kid that always gave me stick, saying that some of the non-straight edge ones did too  ;D

OK, WWE game bias aside, I quite like Escobar's gimmick, but it doesn't really work as a face. The smooth-talking, cultured thing is surely better suited to a heel? Why did they break him and Vickie up? I know the WWE has a thing for breaking up teams, but they'd been together onscreen for what, a month? Him being with her would have meant great heat, but now they're trying to make him face. Bah!

Anyway, as long as he's still employed, that's the main thing....

Also, I found the Mysterio/Batista match this week oddly enjoyable, even if Dave did lose. Not that I'm a huge Batista fanboy, I just would've liked to see him win, but I guess Mysterio's been crushed a bit too much by him recently.

^ All those backstage segments and no Escobar appearance?  He is so gone your pointless already  :hihi:

Enjoyed the Main Event, thought it was hilarious though how they talked about the skills that had led to Hart Dynasty being #1 Contenders, ya know, like they actually beat people, I remember when they announced the title shot, after they beat Wang and Slam Master.

Why did Dolph have to do the damn job!  Luke Gallows really does get treated well now since the name change...

I think McCool is a talented heel, I don't get the, she has no charisma, she can't get heat stuff...

The post match exchanges between Undertaker, Batista and Rey Mysterio were booked to perfection.  Mysterio came out on top without them having to be totally unrealistic, and it was very exciting, I'm guessing this is a sure fire setup for a Triple Threat at RR.

Since when has pulling the referee out of the ring not been a DQ-able offence!  :steelchair:

Why was Batista dressed like a golfer on SD?

I've just seen the future, Ziggler's being packaged back to his former gimmick and Kerwin White is arriving alone with former WCW Jobber "Mr Hole in One" Barry Darsow.  Its the new stable, they are rich, snobby, proud, and very good at golf  ;D

Another week, another new look for Batista. :P

I'm liking his new don't-give-a-crap heel character though. His silence and then the saunter around the ring this week was kinda weird but I'm intrigued....

Also, McIntyre finally has some more sinister, slow music. 8)

Good to see he has new music, but a match with Kane at the next PPV is not something I'm espcially looking forward to.

Batista was good, sometimes its not what you say, it what you don't say, rather than coming out and cutting a promo, they have him get heat by not explaining his actions to the fans, just taunting them, great.  I actually thought that Cena fan was a plant and was going to get dragged out and beaten down.

It's also good to see how they are creating mystery over the title picture, it seems there are a number of different paths they can go with, although with the injury angle it seems Michaels will be showing up next week to claim his place in the Chamber.
