Eric Escobar
« on: October 03, 2009, 07:26:55 pm »
As seen last night on WWE’s “Decade of SmackDown” broadcast, former SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero announced she would be returning to WWE to manage her new newly-signed boyfriend, Eric Escobar. Her profile has been added back to the SmackDown roster section.

Speaking of Escobar, he is a former FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion and has been working non-televised matches for numerous months. Prior to his call-up to the main roster this week, he was in developmental for an astonishing four years, which may be a record. Most wrestlers last no more than two years before they are either called up or released, but he managed to stay put since September 2005. It should also be noted that he could have been called up as early as 2006 as he worked ECW’s short-lived house show tour.

There is ongoing concern regarding the attitude of SmackDown newcomer Eric Escobar, who was recently called up to the main roster after spending four years in developmental. He’s had a reputation for being a “headcase” since he was teaming with RAW wrestler Primo in developmental, and he still carries that stigma to this day.

Vickie Guerrero was hilarious and really worked as a heel...

....for a few months

It got dull quick...and then kept going, how long was she with Edge - 2 years?!

Now she's back - this Eric guy might be good, but i'll be fast forwarding untill she goes - its reall, really irritating now

Excuse me?

the whole Vickie thing - she is completely the wrong angle for this guy, she'll just drag him down

He is a new heel, chances are without her he'd get zerio reaction, with her he'll be one of the most hated guys on the roster, that works.

So far I'm not impressed by the dude, I have no idea why they called him up, there are much better talents in development.

He's terrible. Just another cheap rip off of Razor Ramon. He could't even talk in his accent right. He lost it at one point and went back to talking American.

On the subject of the new guys, Drew McIntyre has jobber written all over him too.
