Booker T on his way out?

- After his contract expires (believed to be in November), it is widely expected that TNA will sever their relationship with Booker T. The straw that ultimately broke the camel’s back was when Booker refused to put over Matt Morgan at the TNA iMPACT! taping on Tuesday.

Booker’s negative attitude backstage has received a lot of attention, and although nothing is official, there are multiple sources in in the company who feel Booker’s TNA stint is over. It is thought that his last TNA appearance may be at the Bound for Glory PPV where he is expected to drop the tag titles with Scott Steiner.

Concerning the plan for him to lose a match to Matt Morgan, Booker voiced his disapproval on an overseas tour bus and felt it was a mistake to lose to Morgan on television rather than pay-per-view. After cooling off over the weekend, Booker was expected to put over Morgan until he refused to follow through with the match plan, telling company officials his decision 45 minutes before the taping. Obviously the poor timing made it very difficult for TNA creative to rewrite some of the show, but he did ultimately appear, but did not wrestle Morgan.

Finally, during last week’s overseas tour and in the lockeroom on Tuesday, Booker claimed that after his contract with TNA expires he has WWE options and will return.

I always thought Booker was all about putting over new talent etc? I could've sworn i read that somewhere a year ago or so. Something how he was adamant to Kurt Angle about getting new guys over.

Why is it that some of these WWE guys end up leaving TNA and returning to WWE?  Same thing happened to Christian (well not quite) as he was unhappy during the end of his TNA run.  I've read that Booker had become somewhat of a pain in the ass to deal with in TNA.

- The word at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view was that TNA will not be renewing Booker T’s contract when it expires in November. There was talk that Dixie Carter might change her mind if Booker said the right things but it’s said that he sealed his fate with TNA when he refused to lose at the last iMPACT tapings.

TNA booked the stretcher angle on Sunday to get him out of the storylines quickly. There was a lot of “eye rolling” backstage over the way he acted during the angle. One source said, “He’s been such an **** that most people were just happy to see him go.”

Some believe that Booker will not work another match for TNA before his deal expires next month.

Apparently he's been removed from the TNA site

Nash and Steiner need to go - but Booker can still do a good match, this is a shame but hardly a disaster

– There are conflicting reports regarding Booker T’s future in the wrestling industry.

Just last week, the Wrestling Observer reported that negotiations between T and World Wrestling Entertainment had fallen through. However, this week’s issue is reporting that he’s telling friends he’s returning to WWE to compete on Raw.

PWInsider.com also recently reported that negotiations between the multi-time world champion had fallen through, but that he was planning to ask for his job back with TNA.

Why WWE would want him I have no idea - he's too old to be anything but a jobber

I'd take him back in TNA - he could play a role, his tag team with Scott Steiner didnt seem to hurt
