yea, it was great you should check it out

aslong as you go in watching with a openmind

and don't expect it to be another superbad, you'll love it

if anything it is similar to Nick and Norah's infinite playlist

but at a theme park and set in the past like dazed and confused

Watched a fair few movies in the past week.

Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian: Not bad, a little long though, I liked the 1st movie better and to be honest I liked the BBC TV Series much more than both of those combined (old school is cool you see).

Hitman: Looking at the cast I thought, great stuff, Olyphant, Desmond from Lost, T-Bag from Prison Break, but it sucked, shame.

Street Kings:  Another film with a cast I liked that ended up being meh.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine: I thought this was damn good, surprised me really I'd read reviews ranging from medicore to bad, but it was a lot of fun.

Iron Man:  Quality, already seen it once so I knew it would be.

Wanted:  Another repeat viewing, really good film, can't wait for the sequel.

I saw Inglourious Basterds last night!, and I really enjoyed it.

Though, I could imagine a lot of people not getting on well with it... For one the scenes can become slightly indulgent, there are far more subtitled scenes than I thought would be in it (not that it bothers me!, honest) and the Basterds get themselves not a whole lot of screen time.

But yeah, I thought that it was great. 8.5 out of ten, or something along those lines.

Oh, though (spoiler!) I'm not all too sure how I feel about Eli **** Roth killing Hitler...

Cheers for those spoilers Jim! I didn't want to know which side won at the end before I saw the film!  :P

Just watched Ma Vie En Rose. I've seen it before. Excellent film. Georges Du Fresne should have won an Oscar, yet wasn't even nominated. Greatest performance by a child actor in history.

Hellboy II!, the best film of last year !!,

that I saw in the cinema...

Actually, that I saw full stop.
I really liked the first but haven't seen the second yet, I forget why, I think I actually read some poor reviews.

I think I'm yet to actually post a film in here, I really watch more tv shows than movies, I got halfway through Watch Men the other week, my attention span is limited for movies it seems...

My man!, see it right now. Or, if not... As soon as you can. In my mind, it has everything that the first film offered but even better.

This alone (don't worry!, it's spoiler free) is reason alone to watch the film right now !!

Seen it, 'twas epic.

I found myself watching it rememberin nothing of the first film, but it was a lot of fun, did the usual google/wiki search after and its had great reviews to as it happens, I must have imagined the bad ones, I feel the need to see the 1st again since I don't remember it and since a 3rd one seems a way off.

And did you realise the "Bad Guy" (antagonist right?) was in Bros:o

I saw this today and came away really disappointed.  I agree that some of the scenes were overly long.  I had ZERO issue with subtitled scenes ( I watch a TON of foreign films) but I was more disappointed with the lack of character development.  OK they did a great job with one character (Shoshana) but the rest could have used some work.   Tarentino's films usually feature a ton of talking but in this film I thought the dialogue wasn't as crisp or sharp.  I thought it was more like "talking for the sake of talking" that didn't add anything to the film.

I liked the meta film references and the end of the film.  I thought Chapter Three was great probably because I got to know the character as opposed to the other chapters.  If I were to rate it I'd give it 4/10.  Jim/others who enjoyed this:  What am I missing here?  I've seen all these great reviews and I just don't get it.
