Alice in Wonderland 2/10  Really bad.  Just a bunch of CGI effects with a really retarded story.  I liked Anne Hathaway though.

Alice in Wonderland - with out Depp would be -10/10 , but with him it still is a $200 million dollar  pill of ****.

Shutter Island for the second time. It was good to watch it again knowing fully how it ends (the first time I saw it, I knew a bit about the ending). Great film. 8)

The Image (1975)  6/10  Wasn't half bad.  It's a bondage/sexplotation/S +M 1970s film.  Interesting ending of the film.  Could have been far worse than I expected.

Saving Private Ryan. I've watched it before obviously, but while talking to my mom on the phone the other day, we got on the subject of war films and I was shocked that she hadn't watched this yet. She came over last night so we watched it.

The invasion of Normandy scene is definitely one of the greatest things ever put to film. It's just so realistic. My mom actually started crying during it, probably because she knew my grandpa had fought during that battle.

I also like how the film has a lot of stars but they dive into their roles and it doesn't take away from the realism.
I have wined and dined with kings and queens, and I've slept in alleys and dined on pork and beans.

My Bloody Valentine 2/5.  I watched it simply because I'm a fan of Supernatural and I remember someone saying Jensen Ackles in it is basically Dean in a horror movie, or something of the sort.

thats the same reason i also saw it... same with friday the 13th since "sam" was coming out.

For the first time possibly in my life, the last three films that I saw at the cinema, and all within about four days, were absolute crackers!

I Love you Phillip Morris.
Shutter Island.
Kick-Ass.
There's a vintage thirst returning,
But I'm sheltered
by my
channel-surfing.

Unless he means it in the sence of 'mad'. Which he didn't, I just wanted to confuse things a bit. :P

The Ghost Writer 9/10 Excellent.  Could be the last film Polanski makes for a while.  Features an Irishman (Pierce Brosnan), Scotsman (Ewan McGregor), Brit (Tom Wilkinson) and another Brit (Kim Cattrall).  Combines a murder mystery with some political intrigue.
