I loved Taz, was it Tap Out or FTW? He sold it well,

Hated the Model Rick Martel's Boston Crap. I never could buy anyone passing out or tapping to that

I think alot of it depends on the performer, Brutus the Barber Beefcake's sleeper is lame, and yet the way the Million Dollar Man did it was so great, (is putting one arm under the other guys arm that different?

Agree on the Backlund Crossface chicken wing, he looked literally nuts selling it.

What do you guys think of Foley's Mandable Claw/Socko.
--- Never a Fan of it, I just thought it was kind of a lazy finisher for a guy who would do anything in the ring.

Ric Flair - Figure Four Leg Lock

I think this move needs to be retired. Was considered a lethal submission move for decades, but too many people can reverse it or simply break out of the hold.

Iron Sheik's Camel Clutch was devastating until Hogan kicked out of it(birth of Hulkamania) and it just never had the same impact even though he kept using it the rest of his career.

In the pre-Socko days, 1996-1997, I thought it was great, once he went babyface and had the sock and got very fat it wasn't anywhere near as good.

Another **** one is the Master Lock.

I remember when he was doing a weekly challenge he said "No One Can Break My Masterlock" and some guy from the crowd shouted out... "Shut Up, Its A Full Nelson" haha thought that was well funny

Meng/Haku's Tongan Death Grip, although invariably it led to a pin rather than a submission there was the odd time (i.e. submission only bouts) where it got the submission.  So simple, but when sold properly it was pretty cool, mainly because people bought Meng as a tough guy, probably because by all accounts he is a legit tough guy, and now he's a car salesman to  8) (I think)

Agreed.

Another wicked looking submission hold was the Haas of Pain. It appeared as though that hold could legitimately hurt.
