I've heard of this guy plenty, but heck, I don't even know what the dude looks like, I've read on other sites though he was a commentator for Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling and by all accounts they said he wasn't very good.

he's a prominent critic of TNA and Russo in particular - this is a cynical attempt to 'buy' him off, his shows usually descend into a TNA rant, few months back Dixie banned employees from appearing on his show

Regarding the situation with Bubba the Love Sponge in TNA, apparently he gave around 1,000 tickets to his listeners that were given to him by TNA. Bubba said on his radio show yesterday that staff at Universal Studios told his fans that the passes weren’t real and many fans were turned away and had to watch the show from the Hard Rock Cafe.

Bubba said yesterday that either someone from Universal or from TNA got on stage at Hard Rock during the viewing party and buried him. Apparently AJ Styles appeared at Hard Rock after iMPACT and also buried Bubba in front of the fans. Bubba said when he appeared at Hard Rock to address the fans, he was boo’d and spat on and had things thrown at him by the angry fans.

Bubba said that following iMPACT last night, he refused to return text messages from Dixie Carter or Hulk Hogan and refused to take calls from them. Bubba said yesterday that he was probably done with TNA but apparently he was at last night’s tapings.

You're right seems Odd. This story can't really help anyone. Makes TNA look a little scummy and makes Bubba seem like he is too big for his boots and makes his fans seem kind fickle

Hulk Hogan was a guest on this morning’s Bubba the Love Sponge program and revealed that the reason Bubba the Love Sponge was sent home from yesterday’s production meeting was because he was assaulted by TNA star Awesome Kong.

BUBBA: She was wearing wrestling gear, and she came in on me and sucker punched me right on my left cheeck, and I was like, what’s going on… then she came out me again, hit me again in the mouth, and she goes, “This if for Haiti! This is for Haiti!” and I’m lke “What is going on?” Finally I put my left hand out and push her away from me, and she comes at me again and I just cover up, because I cannot fight back on a woman. Not only will I be fired from TNA, which I probably am, but my radio career is gone if I take a woman out!

HOGAN: I tell you what, after what happened, if you had clocked her you’d have got away with it. What nobody knows, and this is the real truth, that there were certain people there… she should get off the property, she should be fired immediately, that’s it. It was so violent. You could have actually lost an eye, you could have had your teeth knocked out. But, to give you your creedo, you are the one who said not to fire her.

This Bubba guy just sounds like a prick. Who puts **** Haiti on their Twitter account (assuming its his account). Just get rid of him. TNA does not need this sort of ****.

Fans not being let in he gave tickets too, Censoring the crowd, Scott Hall pulling out of his first match.... That all within two weeks!

They need to get their house in order!

Is it just me or are people a little suprised that Bubba has not been fired for this? You hardly want negative feelings backstage and lets be honest saying **** Haiti is a pretty horrific thing to say!

Yeah but he's part of Hogan's circle of friends.  I'm still shocked we haven't seen Ed Leslie yet.
