I know that most people watching don't know who Lo-Ki is but I still find it funny that he is being "mentored by two diva search girls in LayCool. How long til either Dibiase, Rotunda or Hennig snap and demand to use their real names like Bryan Danielson?

What's worse is they give them retarded names.

You could have had Joe Hennig mentored by Dolph Ziggler, who's clearly a Mr. Perfect imitation, ready made storyline there.  And poor Rotunda, Husky Harris??  Are they trying to kill these guys?

Nice surprise to see Wade Barrett won.  First English World Heavyweight Champion I hope  ;D

I like Barrett but I think Otunga will get a major push soon:

It was the "pros" that decided. The WWE Universe voted Gabriel 1st more than once in a wwe.com poll. I hope Gabriel does get a WWE contract, lets face it he can't talk but a fair few of WWE superstars can't talk. Besides his promo after being eliminated was pretty sik.

I've liked the start to this new season.  I'm glad they have explained Michael McGuillcuty (Or however you spell it), taken the name after his mother and mentioned his heritage, it's not like they've decided this guy's family doesn't exist.  Only person who hasn't shown anything worthwhile yet is Titus.

So bad!

What was he on about dont drink and drive this week? He made no sense other than to mistakenly imply he was drunk.

3 left, who gets it?

For me its got to be Michael McGuillicuttyRiley and Kaval are decent, but neither are good enough to win IMO.  One is too much of a friggin clone, the other has less personality than Evan Bourne.

Mr. Perfect Jr., he's got enough personality and the lineage does carry weight.  He'll probably get pushed too after this.

Finally actually seen this weeks episode, really, really fantastic stuff.  Kaval mentioning TNA was amusing, is that the first time they have been mentioned on WWE tv?

The way it all kicked off at the end to was superb, Cody and Husky going crazy, this show is awesome, probably in part to it seeming so fresh and not being bogged down by veterans who are past their prime.

The SyFy network once again had their TV cameras at the WWE developmental tapings this week filming matches. As noted before, WWE is planning a third season of NXT, in some form at least.

Based on who wrestled at the tapings, you could speculate as to who might be on season 3 of NXT. Superstars that wrestled and haven?t previously appeared on NXT included Xavier Woods, Idol Stevens, Bo Rotunda, Richie Steamboat, Wes Brisco, Tag Team Champions Johnny Curtis & Derrick Bateman, Hunico & Epico and FCW Heavyweight Champion Mason Ryan. There has never been Diva Rookies on NXT but the idea has been discussed before. Divas in action included Aksana, AJ Lee, Livianna and FCW Divas Champion Naomi Night.

As a former Smackdown roster member, using Idol Stevens would be odd, although I'm guessing most don't remember him.

World Wrestling Entertainment is expected to rush through the current season of NXT with the final episode airing on October 1 just before the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on Syfy. The third season of NXT will feature five episodes.

While company officials adore NXT and have vowed it will continue, they have been unable to land a new home for the show. With that being said, there was a discussion this past week of moving the show to WGN America. Vince McMahon said that ideally, they would keep both NXT and WWE Superstars.

This is contradicted though....

If Vickie Guerrero?s Twitter page is any indication, the show will continue well beyond this date. She wrote:

?I am loving my job?I have acquired a female giant as my rookie?life will be interesting in the next 12 weeks!?

Also why it is all Diva...

source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

The decision to make the third season of NXT an all-women?s show was likely made very recently because last week, WWE filmed twelve wrestlers at Florida Championship Wrestling, eight men and four women. Initial plans called for four men and four women to be featured in the abbreviated season, but it was later changed to six women.

There is hope that the show will garner better ratings with women prominently featured so they can reach a television deal with another network. There is also hope that Aloisia?s ?freak of nature? persona will increase ratings so Syfy will change its mind and renew the program.

Another aspect revolves around unhappiness with many of its current female performers, resulting in the company looking for replacement Divas. Talent relations were unhappy with the behavior of several of the women in recent weeks, particularly when much of the roster was situated in Los Angeles for SummerSlam. It is said that Tiffany and the recently released Serena were not the only ones who made embarrassing scenes in public. Officials are very strict regarding the public image of its talent because of promises to corporate sponsors that World Wrestling Entertainment is a wholesome company.

As things stand now, the lame duck show will end its current season on October 1, with a live episode in Oklahoma City as part of a three-hour programming block that will include the network?s debut of Friday Night SmackDown.
