The Christian/Edge thing deserves more than that. I'd be all for Christian winning MITB and cashing it in against Edge but a sustained feud between these two will be a real Money-Maker but i dont see Christian cashing it in when Edge is weak. I can see Edge the day after Mania coming out to celebrate and Christian coming out and saying he will cash it in against Edge but not let on when
They should have a sustained feud, and a heel Christian should kickstart it, annoyed at how Edge has become a certified Main Eventer, while people only say him as "Midcarder", on a defunct brand, in another promotion while Edge was on top of WWE.  Last time I remember them interacting in a match was Edge beating Christian down, unhappy he'd been teamed with him again, Christian would really benefit from this turn (and so would I  :D )

HHH v Sheamus?

People on this board called that months ago - talk about just throwing 2 guys together.

That and the diva match can be coffee breaks

Yeah maybe.... Sounds good to me. Not sure Vince would put any world title belt on Christian though.

True, but sometimes, we, the IWC, can get too caught up in dirtsheet talk, CM Punk according to the "Internetz" would never get past curtain jerker status, I swear he does stuff sometimes just to prove the IWC wrong, I could see it happening.

Based on who is in MITB right now, Christian is the only one who has a chance of winning.

This is definitely looking like it could be better than WM25. Hopefully Bret/Vince is given some sort of No DQ stipulation so that Bret can have a half-decent match.

So we have 6 matches "Officially" announced.  What and "Who" does that leave?

Well Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk is a lock, that takes us up to 7.

Triple H vs. Sheamus seems a certainty to putting us at 8 bouts.

A Women's match of some nature is usually expected, but could be done without, assuming they feel the need, we then have 9 (make it the dark match).

Lastly we have some form of Randy Orton vs. Rhodes & DiBiase.  Someone suggested Kofi Kingston getting involved and even teaming with a face Orton in a tag bout, since I expect Drew McIntyre to take the last MITB place I could now see that.

Assuming that happens, what names does that leave off the card:

Cryme Tyme
Hart Dynasty
Mark Henry
Evan Bourne
Chris Masters
Yoshi Tatsu
William Regal
Evan Bourne
Chavo Guerrero
Carlito
Primo
Santino Marella
Zach Ryder
Vance Archer
Vladmir Kozlov
Ezekiel Jackson
Croft & Barretta
Goldust
Finlay
Kung Fu Naki
Luke Gallows
Jimmy Wang Yang
Slam Master J
Mike Knox

Looking at it like that, there are no MAJOR absences.  It's a shame Evan Bourne won't be in MITB, its custom made for him, but if he was in it, you'd know he wasn't winning.  Also with Bret Hart on the card, they should of built up the Hart Dynasty and worked them onto the card, but since they haven't done much with the, most won't see it as a major loss, they have many years to earn their spot in the limelight.

I think another quick match could be added. No idea what it could be.

I'm curious where Hart/Mchmahon gets placed in the card.  I think UT vs HBK should be last and given at least 30+ minutes.

So Evan Bourne takes the last MITB spot, great, he deserves it and we'll get some good spots, I was surprised, pleasantly so.

Where does that leave Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre?  I had a thought that maybe Drew will be put with Vince and Kofi with Bret Hart at Wrestlemania, it'd be a wise way to get 2 young guys some attention on the grandest stage of them all, it just struck me when Kofi ran in at the end, I mean I know he's a babyface but I thought there had to be some other reasoning behind it rather than, well we have to fit him in the show somewhere.

Or maybe they just do Kofi vs McIntyre for the title.

McIntyre will be in a match at Mania without a doubt.

Michael Cole said during last night’s episode of WWE Superstars that the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Wrestlemania will feature ten participants. The ninth person will be revealed on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown with the tenth person likely being added this Monday night on Raw.

10...woah!

I thought 6 was ideal, 8 was a clusterfuck, how do you book one with 10?  Unless there's a massive spot that takes out 2-3 guys early for the whole match this could be a mess....

10 kinda reeks of "let's get as many on the card as we can". 6 is a good number, don't know why they went with 8. 10 is just too much. It just means that more guys have to lie down outside the ring and 'take turns' and fighting in the ring/on the ladder....

That probably solves our dilemma of what Kingston will be doing at Mania then I guess.

I understand the logic.  With all the other matches on the card, you either get in this spot or in the dark match.

The problem with early Wrestlemania's is they tried to fit too many matches on resulting in 3-4 minute matches a lot of the time, cards were so stacked.

I suppose the only other theory would be to dilute the Tag Team match and make it a Fatal 4 Way, but that wouldn't be as good, build-up or match wise.
