You can actually bet money on WrestleMania on a gambling website.

 Gambling
website 5Dimes.com is taking bets on this year's Wrestlemania. The
current odds are below. For those not familiar with Gambling, the ones
with + are the underdogs, the ones with - are the favorites. A +450
means if you bet $100 you stand to win $450, while a -750 means you
have to bet $750 to win $100. Note that the Money in the Bank match is not listed.

WWE Championship

Batista +450

John Cena -750

Career vs. Streak

The Undertaker -1050

Shawn Michaels +550

World Heavyweight Championship

I highly doubt many people were gonna bet what $2,500 on Bret just to win $100 (I'm sure my math is off but you get the point) so if anything this site probably came out ahead from people throwing down a lil coin on HBK/Vince. I think we forget the % of smart marks/Internet fans is nothing compared to the "regular" fans.

Don't forget websites take bets on The Oscars and on reality TV shows.Those are usually taped months in advance so other than live finales it's possible for those winners to leak as well.
