Tara leaving TNA!
« on: April 29, 2010, 09:09:28 pm »
The following is an excerpt from a new blog from the official MySpace page of TNA Knockout Tara:

"I came to TNA last year because I still had a lot of wrestling left in me. I was paid a fraction of what I thought I deserved. But I wanted to show I was still at the top of my game. Now my contract is up in May. I want a modest pay increase. They don't want to pay me what I think is fair. I have no problems going my own way.

But about 12 hours after the conversation where we didn't agree on pay, unnamed sources claim that I am hard to work with and that I don't give my best effort. My only response is that TNA made an aggressive effort to re-sign me, among other things saying that they want to build the women's division around me. And I think wrestling fans see, both on TV and at live events, that I alwys give 100%. I take pride in that. Smeaering me on the way out the door is an act of second-rate character."

I think her TNA debut was the most impresive debut I've ever seen

Always thought of her to that point as some worthless jobber - she came in an had the match of her career

...you wonder how many other 'divas' can actually wrestle

She is a real loss to TNA - another blow to the knockout division which was once main eventing impact...

It's a massive blow, especially when things point to the next female signing being Maria.

In her absence, now is the time to push the best female wrestler on the roster, Hamada!

I'm sure i read on a site that TNA had just given Hemme a new $135,000 per year contract. So why give a fat contract to a backstage interviewer whos on the show for about 90 seconds but not too your top Knockout?

LOL

massive blow would be losing AJ or Jeff Hardy or RVD

I like Tara but please.. u honestly think that is gonna hurt the company in anyway? WWE seemed to survive.

Yeah but WWE never had her Main Eventing their weekly shows  :DX:

Point was she is a massive blow to the Knockouts division which historically gets the higest ratings on Impact for TNA.

I think the knockouts will continue to get high ratings.

Angelina is hotter and just as good a worker. so Tara filled a need while Angelina was gone, but since she is back, i think Tara is expendable.

Here is what u do

Have Rob Terry drop Global title and start working his way towards the world or even team him up with Morgan

Then, Have Awesome Kong back and have her do the Global title. Make her start wrestling men. freak show stuff people love!

Spike TV apparently dont like men fighting women

...but I'm sure they could be persuaded

Kong v the male wrestlers would get alot of press attention - and lets face it, she's more than capable of holding her own, I know TNA would be worried about ''humiliating'' wrestlers - but there is no shame in being beaten by someone as obvioulsy tough as Kong

Baffled this was never an angle anyway

^ Well they had her beat Kip James, which was totally unjust and wrong, so heck have her beat the other dudes too.

PWTorch.com is reporting that TNA Knockout Tara, real name Lisa Marie Varon, has backstage heat with The Beautiful People which is the root of recent reports that she is "difficult to work with." Apparently, Varon has issues with the fact that the BP will not take certain offensive moves of hers during matches and that she is not a fan of their in-ring ability.

It's being reported that Varon has aired these complaints to TNA management several times, and even requested to work with ODB on a recent house show tour as opposed to the BP. This was seen as a sign of disrespect by the BP, as backstage protocol is usually to go to talent with any issues you might have rather than going to management behind the talent's backs.

It should be noted that Varon was reportedly very easy to work with in WWE and apparently had none of the issues in that company which she now has in TNA. Varon has apparently been telling people close to her that she wants to return to WWE when her current TNA deal expires.

She'll be perfect in WWE

...wait, she'll be the oldest there by 20 years

Maybe this isn't such a good move
