Undertaker injured - out of Fatal 4 Way?
« on: May 31, 2010, 05:55:53 pm »
Undertaker suffered a broken orbital bone, a broken nose and a concussion in his match last Tuesday against Rey Mysterio, which aired on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

It is believed Undertaker suffered injury while taking the seated senton move by Mysterio during the match.

He has been recommended to take time off due to the injury, which would take him past the Fatal 4-Way event. It’s being said that it’s a 50/50 chance as to whether he would be able to wrestle on the show.

Due to the lack of depth on the SmackDown brand, Rey Mysterio has been called back to action to fill Undertaker’s scheduled position on live events and television. He was set to take time off from the road for a scheduled vacation. No decision has been made regarding the World Heavyweight Championship bout at Fatal 4-Way, but logic would have Mysterio as the replacement if Undertaker can’t wrestle.

I never knew such a little guy could do such damage  :hihi:

Taker came back too early. This injury was not his fault, but he still should not have came back last Friday. He should have waited till like after Fatal Four Way or July.

hello,

I didn't want Undertaker in this match but I still didn't want to see an injury happen. It's unfortunate. He really is banged up.

Taker is a bad motherfucker, though, he may still pull it out. This is the same guy that got burned and just shook it off.

He really needs to cut back his schedule.

I realise he's only back because of his problems and retirements but rather than pulling him back early they should have relished the chance to push someone else.

I think they should have just moved someone from RAW over.  Taker seems like he's been getting injured a lot lately (the past few years).  None of his injuries are the serious type (he hasn't blown out a knee or elbow) but with the time off he takes anyway I would have expected a healthier Undertaker.

He should just take as much time as he needs and come back in the winter for one final run before ultimately retiring.

He's gotta go til Mania in 2012. He will be 19-0 after Mania in Atlanta. He's not going to retire at 19-0. 20-0 will be a fitting end for Taker.

Let's just hope Kane isn't the one who attacked Taker.

Yeah 20-0 would be the perfect way to retire. Plus I am sure Vince would love to make a lot off of a 20-0 Taker DVD.

I could see him getting close to a year off after Mania 2011. Maybe coming back at Royal Rumble 2012 right before Mania 2012. No way does he retire at 19-0. He will be, what close to 50 by then? I'm sure he has been financially set for years now. If he doesn't go into the HOF in 2012 I can see it 2013 as they have been LOW on main event inductees.

Taker is 45 now so he would be like 47-48 then. Yeah no way he retires at 19-0. Do not see that happening at all. I can see Taker getting inducted in 2013 or so. HBK will probably be inducted in 2012 because 2011 they probably will have a WCW theme for the HOF. I would like to see HBK get inducted in 2011 since I will be at Mania 27.

Undertaker is so lazy. At fatal four way they'll just make the other 3 guys wrestle, make the arena turn dark, and then undertaker will tombstone the last guy standing for the 3 count, and give us another 5 month title reign where he barely even makes appearances or wrestles.
