I can't quite put my finger on it, but there just seemed to be something missing from WM this year. There was something about the atmosphere and that crowd that just didn't feel like a Wrestlemania. They were alive for The Rock's opening promo and then seemed to be dead for much of the night.

HHH/Undertaker was definitely the best match but even that went through long period where the crowd almost didn't seem into it. I have to admit though, I did think Taker might be losing at that point where he was writhing and squirming on the ground and HHH was standing up with an exasperated look on his face. It was reminiscent of Flair in 2008 with Taker pulling himself up and kind of telling HHH to bring it. I didn't expect HHH to tell Taker "I love you" though. :P

From what I remember, I thought Edge/Del Rio was a good opener (but very surprised they did open the show with that one) and Punk/Orton was good too. The two tag matches were pointless, though I guess Snooki showed she'd learned something athletic. :o The Corre should have won their match, but if they were gonna lose, don't have them get beat withing aboout two minutes! Nice to see Rhodes win too, like his sinister, slowed-down entrance music. ;D

The way they ended the Lawler/Cole 'match' was weird. Cole wins by DQ? Booker T and Josh Mathews get Stunners? I thought they were gonna have some kind of 'feel-good' moment, but perhaps they wanted to swerve everybody after '****-gate'....

I didn't dislike the show, it just seemed...... a bit off. :undecided:
