It was obviously rehearsed. They're not going to put those two guys in that situation without a script that both have signed off on. Lets be real for gods sake.
They have to give it the appearance of being "real" due to the history between the two men. You admit in this era its a work, then it calls into question the authenticity of the screw job itself.
Its why this shouldn't even be happening. I'm sure fans are loving this stuff as wrestling has scraped the bottom of the barrel, but they are definitely walking on thin ice with this.
