HAYWARD, CA (APW) – All Pro Wrestling's monthly event, Gym Wars, emanated from The Garage in Hayward, as the contest for the Universal Heavyweight Championship took place between defending champion Malachi, and his challenger, Jeckles The Jester. Many remember that at last month's Gym Wars event, it was Jeckles who picked up the win for his team, pinning Malachi with his patented “Joke Slam”.
The World Wide Internet Championship also was contested, as the champion “Double D” Dave Dutra defended his title against both his best friend, “Out of Control” Matt Carlos, as well as former Internet Champion and the man that Dutra defeated for the title, “The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher. This match was contested under Triple-Threat Elimination rules, a rare match for All Pro Wrestling.
Another match taking place featured the culmination of months of hostility between The Reno SCUM (The team of “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) and the team known as Late Night Prime Time (The team of “Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury and “Mr. Prime Time” MPT) along with their manager, “The No Alternate Pink Mink of Professional Wrestling” Markus Mac. This war began months ago, but a number of matches to end this war have been rescheduled due to traveling conflicts, alleged illness and injury, and outright avoidance. When they have squared off, Late Night Prime Time have either ran away or used the most underhanded of tactics to 'win'. At this event, the war is settled in a Lumberjack Tag-Team match!
Meanwhile, another war seems to be developing even hotter, as former enemies Mr. Wrestling #4 and Vennis DeMarco teamed up to take on their common foes, Corvus and “The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell. Corvus and DeMarco have been battling for months now, with Blackwell in DeMarco's corner until recently. The Self-Professed “Greatest Mind in Professional Wrestling” Matthew Theall had been trying to become the manager of Mr. Wrestling #4 for months, and after being repeatedly denied, Wrestling #4 was brutally attacked by the 399 pound Blackwell, suffering an injury after taking a Big Splash. Afterwards, the it was revealed that Theall had signed on to manage Blackwell. Wrestling #4 swore that Blackwell would not allow Blackwell to injure anyone else, and he kept his word by saving DeMarco from a similar fate. Now, while Wrestling #4 and DeMarco have buried the hatchet, Theall has added Corvus to his fledgling stable and it was only natural that these four men would meet in a tag team match. On top of all of this, Vennis DeMarco has taken possession of Matthew Theall's prized golf club.

Following the match, an enraged Massaro wrapped a plastic bag over the head of Kristofferson attempting to suffocate him, but the save was made by none other than Massaro's stablemate, Dalton Frost, who said that he wanted no part of this. During this second argument between Association stablemates, Kristofferson got a small measure of revenge on Massaro by nailing him with the Spear.

Matt Carlos was eliminated by Timothy Thatcher at 15:41 when he used the ropes for leverage on the pinfall. Carlos argued with the referee while Thatcher rubbed his victory in the face of Carlos. However, this allowed Dutra to take advantage with an “O'Conner Roll Up”, and three seconds later, Dutra retains his World Wide Internet title!

Double D” Dave Dutra Main Event APW Universal Heavyweight Championship Jeckles The Jester vs.
APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Malachi The battle between The Monster and The Freak for the Universal title! After a brawl on the floor, Malachi nails Jeckles with his patented Running Boot to the face as Jeckles was getting back into the ring. This knocked the challenger off the ring apron and to the floor, allowing Malachi to escape with a Count Out victory and his Universal title.
Following the match, Malachi continued assaulting Jeckles, brutally slamming his head against the big garage door three times. Then, as Jeckles was attempting to get to his feet, he was met with another brutal Running Boot to the face, causing his head to hit the concrete garage floor and knocking him out cold. Jeckles had to be taken to the hospital shortly afterward.
Many speculate on why Malachi took the Count Out victory. Jeckles nearly matched him move-for-move inside the ring, and the Champion did not look like he wanted any future matches with Jeckles.
Match time: 13:09
Winner by Pinfall and STILL APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Malachi Our next event will be the Young Lions Cup, Saturday, April 10 from The Garage in Hayward, California.
