The (In)Famous APW Garage, Hayward, CA
DOORS OPEN: 6:00pm
BELL TIME: 6:30pm

APW Universal Heavyweight Championship
Jeckles The Jester
vs.
APW Universal Heavyweight Champion
Malachi

APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Malachi will defend his championship against the man who pinned him last month in the Elimination Tag Team Match, Jeckles The Jester.
Many APW wrestling fans and many pro wrestling experts believed Malachi to be unstoppable as the APW Universal Heavyweight Champion. After he destroyed Dylan Drake to win the championship back in November of last year, many people predicted Malachi will smash the eleventh month title reign set by Dylan Drake. Last month, Jeckles The Jester made Malachi look mortal and not the unstoppable monster.
Jeckles The Jester proved two things, one that Malachi can be defeated and two, the “Joke-Slam” is the offensive move that can take him to victory. Over the last few months, Jeckles has been picking up wins and looking like he is back to his 2008 form when he captured the APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Championship. The bizarre jester looks to be as focused as ever to win championship gold in All Pro Wrestling once again.
After the match, A very upset champion, Malachi, stormed in his locker room and destroyed it. Malachi has claimed that not only will be defeat Jeckles The Jester at Gym Wars, but he will crush the skull of Jeckles with his big boot to the face.
The main event is signed for the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship! Who will win the match between the MONSTER and the FREAK! Find out on Saturday, March 20th in Hayward, California at the historic APW Garage!

Triple-Threat Elimination Match
APW World Wide Internet Championship

"The British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher
vs.
"Out of Control" Matt Carlos

vs.
APW World Wide Internet Champion

"Double D" Dave Dutra

The APW World Wide Internet Championship Return Match between the Champion, "Double D" Dave Dutra and challenger, "Out of Control" Matt Carlos, has been changed due to an injunction filed by "The British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher.

Claiming that he was not awarded his opportunity at the Internet title as per the return clause in his contract, All Pro Wrestling has spent the better part of a week in discussion with Thatcher's lawyers.

This is not the first time that Thatcher has used lawyers to get his way. A few months back after losing the Internet title to Mr. Wrestling #4, the title was awarded back to Thatcher due to the interference of the referee, Shane "OMEGA" Patterson. Since then, Thatcher has lost the title to Dave Dutra. Matt Carlos, who won the 2010 "Pick The Winner" Battle Royal, was awarded an automatic opportunity to challenge for the Internet title. Last month at Gym Wars, he went one-on-one with Dutra, and nearly had won the title before slipping from the top turnbuckle and injuring his ankle during an apparent high-risk maneuver, causing the match to end in a time-limit draw. The match drew praise from APW fans as well as many others as an early Match-of-the-Year candidate, and because of this, All Pro Wrestling booked the two to face off once again.

Now, because of the injunction filed by Thatcher, the match has been rebooked by APW Commissioner J.J. Perez as a Triple-Threat Elimination Match: "Double D" Dave Dutra to defend the APW World Wide Internet Championship against BOTH "Out of Control" Matt Carlos and "The British Messiah" Timothy Thatcher!

These matches are rare in APW, and immediately drew comparisons with one of the all time classic matches: A Three-Way Dance between Erin O' Grady (a.k.a. Crash Holly), Chris Cole, and Donovan Morgan for the APW Light Heavyweight Championship on June 7, 1997.

The first match between Dutra and Carlos has been regarded as an Instant Classic, and with Timothy Thatcher now in the mix, will this match live up to expectations?

Singles Match
Chupacabra  vs.  "The Boss" Derek Sanders

All Pro Wrestling would like to let to the wrestling fans know that Dylan Drake will be unable to wrestle on March 20th at Gym Wars due to an injury.

Dylan Drake is unable to wrestle at Gym Wars due to a back injury suffered during training leading up to his match with “The Boss” Derek Sanders. Dylan Drake wanted to wrestle on March 20th, but Dylan Drake’s doctors and APW medical physicians on staff would not clear him to wrestle. Dylan Drake has been advised to take at least a minimum of 6 weeks off for recovery.

Dylan Drake wanted to let the fans know that he will be back at the our following Gym Wars event on April 10th and is hoping that his scheduled match this month with “The Boss” Derek Sanders will be rescheduled on that date. Dylan Drake would like nothing more to get his hands on “The Boss” and shut him up for good.

All Pro Wrestling has contacted Chupacabra to take the spot open in the match against “The Boss” Derek Sanders and he accepted. Chupacabra is one of the most exciting wrestlers in the area today and has a style that matches up well against “The Boss”.

Will Chupacabra come in and upset “The Boss” Derek Sanders? Will The Reno SCUM finally get their revenge on Late Night Prime Time? Find out on Saturday, March 20th at Gym Wars in Hayward, California.

Lumberjack Tag-Team Match
The Reno SCUM
("Rock Legend Scum" Adam Thornstowe  &  Luster The Legend)
vs.
Late Night Prime Time
("Wrestling Personified" Rik Luxury  &  "Mr. Prime Time" MPT)
w/ Markus Mac

Signed is a LUMBERJACK MATCH between The Reno SCUM taking on Late Night Prime Time with Markus Mac. Late Night Prime Time has been running from The Reno SCUM and also has been using every trick in the book to steal victories from The Reno SCUM. On March 20th in Hayward, California they have no place to run and no place to hide in a Lumberjack match. The Reno SCUM vows revenge and looks to finally put an end to their war with Late Night Prime Time on Saturday, March 20th at Gym Wars.

Tag-Team Match
Mr. Wrestling #4  &  Vennis DeMarco
vs.
Larry Blackwell  &  Corvus
w/ Matthew Theall

The match signed will be a grudge tag team match pitting Mr. Wrestling #4 teaming up with his long time rival, Vennis DeMarco, as they take on their common enemies in “The Mountain From Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell teaming up with Corvus, both men managed by Matthew Theall.

For Mr. Wrestling #4 this started last year when Larry Blackwell’s manager, Matthew Theall kept pestering the masked marvel by trying to sign Mr. Wrestling #4 to a contract. Mr. Wrestling #4 said thanks, but no thanks as Mr. Wrestling #4 just needs the “4-Heads” in his corner. Matthew Theall took the approach in that if he couldn’t sign Mr. Wrestling #4 to a contract, that he will end Mr. Wrestling #4’s career. In January, Matthew Theall set up Mr. Wrestling #4 to be attacked by Larry Blackwell. Mr. Wrestling #4 suffered damaged ribs and was unable to wrestler for over 6 weeks. Mr. Wrestling #4 vowed to never let Larry Blackwell or Matthew Theall injure another wrestler.

Last month, Matthew Theall offered Vennis DeMarco a contract to be managed by him. Theall told Vennis that he can make a loser into a winner. Though Vennis DeMarco doesn’t have the best win-loss record in the singles ranks in APW, the veteran always puts up a good fight and in the last few months has concentrated on winning his matches with his god given wrestling ability. Vennis turned down Matthew Theall and once again Larry Blackwell attacked. Before Blackwell could do permanent damage, Mr. Wrestling #4 returned and made sure another wrestler would not be injured. Many of APW wrestling fans where shocked seeing Mr. Wrestling #4 and Vennis DeMarco shaking hands after their legendary feud in 2008-2009.

Vennis DeMarco in late 2009 formed a tag team with Larry Blackwell. Their record was 0-3 in two tag and one six man tag team matches. Each time Larry Blackwell blamed Vennis for those losses. Things turned around for Vennis when he wrestled Mr. Wrestling #4 at our November Gym Wars in which he wrestled a clean and scientific match. Vennis was close many of times in defeating Mr. Wrestling #4 and after the match was over the APW wrestling fans found a new found respect for Vennis DeMarco.

Both men are looking for revenge against Larry Blackwell. Matthew Theall has contacted Corvus to team with Blackwell. Corvus is looking for revenge of his own as he was defeated by Vennis last month. Corvus plans to use his new found darkness and intensity to help win this tag team grudge match.

Which team will come out the victor in this match? Can Mr. Wrestling #4 and Vennis DeMarco come together and defeat Larry Blackwell and Corvus? Or Matthew Theall’s team put both Mr. Wrestling #4 and Vennis DeMarco on the shelf for good.

Tag-Team Match
"Big Country" Jody Kristofferson  &  OMEGA
vs.
The Association
("The Nice Guy" Vinny Massaro  &  "The Texas Hangman" Dalton Frost)

The war between Jody Kristofferson and Vinny Massaro has been raging since December and Vinny will not stop until he has taken the promising APW rookie out of the sport. "Big Country" has yet to back down from Vinny's vicious bullying and has even inflicted some pain of his own onto the "The Nice Guy".

This Saturday they will take their war into a tag team match as Jody teams with his good friend OMEGA and Vinny teams will his fellow teammate in the Association, "The Hangman" Dalton Frost. This match promises to be a wild brawl that maybe even Gym Wars can't contain.

What does Vinny Massaro have in store for Jody Kristofferson this time? Will we see the end of "Big Country" or will Jody finally give Vinny Massaro a beat down that many APW fans have been wanting to see since Vinny's return to APW in 2008?

Also Scheduled to Appear:
"Hard" Cory Dayton
Tyson Thompson
"The Latin Dragon" Junior Morales
"The First Class Male" Steve Stamp
...and So Much More!

The Freak and The Monster meet at Gym Wars
Universal Heavyweight title on the line

 By Joseph Duncan
 Monday, March 22, 2010 12:58 AM PDT

HAYWARD, CA (APW) – All Pro Wrestling's monthly event, Gym Wars, emanated from The Garage in Hayward, as the contest for the Universal Heavyweight Championship took place between defending champion Malachi, and his challenger, Jeckles The Jester. Many remember that at last month's Gym Wars event, it was Jeckles who picked up the win for his team, pinning Malachi with his patented “Joke Slam”.

The World Wide Internet Championship also was contested, as the champion “Double D” Dave Dutra defended his title against both his best friend, “Out of Control” Matt Carlos, as well as former Internet Champion and the man that Dutra defeated for the title, “The British Messiah” Timothy Thatcher. This match was contested under Triple-Threat Elimination rules, a rare match for All Pro Wrestling.

Another match taking place featured the culmination of months of hostility between The Reno SCUM (The team of “Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) and the team known as Late Night Prime Time (The team of “Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury and “Mr. Prime Time” MPT) along with their manager, “The No Alternate Pink Mink of Professional Wrestling” Markus Mac. This war began months ago, but a number of matches to end this war have been rescheduled due to traveling conflicts, alleged illness and injury, and outright avoidance. When they have squared off, Late Night Prime Time have either ran away or used the most underhanded of tactics to 'win'. At this event, the war is settled in a Lumberjack Tag-Team match!

Meanwhile, another war seems to be developing even hotter, as former enemies Mr. Wrestling #4 and Vennis DeMarco teamed up to take on their common foes, Corvus and “The Mountain from Stone Mountain” Larry Blackwell. Corvus and DeMarco have been battling for months now, with Blackwell in DeMarco's corner until recently. The Self-Professed “Greatest Mind in Professional Wrestling” Matthew Theall had been trying to become the manager of Mr. Wrestling #4 for months, and after being repeatedly denied, Wrestling #4 was brutally attacked by the 399 pound Blackwell, suffering an injury after taking a Big Splash. Afterwards, the it was revealed that Theall had signed on to manage Blackwell. Wrestling #4 swore that Blackwell would not allow Blackwell to injure anyone else, and he kept his word by saving DeMarco from a similar fate. Now, while Wrestling #4 and DeMarco have buried the hatchet, Theall has added Corvus to his fledgling stable and it was only natural that these four men would meet in a tag team match. On top of all of this, Vennis DeMarco has taken possession of Matthew Theall's prized golf club.

Here are the results of this past Saturday's epic event!

 Opening Preliminary Singles Match

Vennis DeMarco picks up the win after delivering the “Face Spank”, a Full Nelson Bulldog.

  Vennis DeMarco

 Preliminary Singles Match
 “Wrestling Personified”  Rik Luxury
 w/ Markus Mac
  vs.

 Preliminary Singles Match
 “The Real Deal” Dan Danielson
  vs.
 “The Latin Dragon” Junior Morales

  Match time: 4:36

 Winner by Pinfall:
 “The Real Deal” Dan Danielson

 Tag-Team Match
“Big Country” Jody Kristofferson  &  OMEGA
  vs.
  The Association
(“The Nice Guy” Vinny Massaro  &  “The Texas Hangman” Dalton Frost)

Dalton Frost was prepared to finish off Kristofferson with his Lariat Clothesline, when the leader of The Association, Vinny Massaro, blind tagged himself in. Frost and Massaro began to argue. Kristofferson took advantage of this, using a simple Roll-Up to get the win.

Following the match, an enraged Massaro wrapped a plastic bag over the head of Kristofferson attempting to suffocate him, but the save was made by none other than Massaro's stablemate, Dalton Frost, who said that he wanted no part of this. During this second argument between Association stablemates, Kristofferson got a small measure of revenge on Massaro by nailing him with the Spear.
  Match time: 10:45

 Winners by Pinfall:
“Big Country” Jody Kristofferson  &  OMEGA

 Singles Match
Chupacabra  vs.  “The Boss” Derek Sanders

“The Boss” picked up the win by submission, forcing “The Mexican Werewolf” to submit to the Los Gatos Leglock, a version of the Texas Cloverleaf.
  Match time: 9:25

 Winner by Submission:
 “The Boss” Derek Sanders

 Tag-Team Match
Vennis DeMarco  &  Mr. Wrestling #4
  vs.
 Corvus  &  Larry Blackwell
 w/ Matthew Theall

This grudge match has been considered by many one of the best matches of the first half of 2010. Mr. Wrestling #4 picked up the win for his team, nailing Corvus with his Million Dollar Knee Lift. Theall got a small measure of revenge, as he was able to take back his prized golf club.
  Match time: 15:32

  Winners by Pinfall:
Vennis DeMarco  &  Mr. Wrestling #4

 Lumberjack Tag-Team Match
  The Reno SCUM
(“Rock Legend SCUM” Adam Thornstowe  &  Luster The Legend)
  vs
  Late Night Prime Time
(“Wrestling Personified” Rik Luxury  &  “Mr. Prime Time” MPT)
  w/ Markus Mac

This war comes to an end with a Superkick from Thornstowe to MPT.
  Match time: 12:40

  Winners by Pinfall:
  The Reno SCUM

  Triple-Threat Elimination Match
 APW World Wide Internet Championship
 “Out of Control”  Matt Carlos
  vs.
 “The British Messiah”  Timothy Thatcher
  vs.
  APW World Wide Internet Champion
 “Double D”  Dave Dutra

One of the most exciting matches in the 15-year history of All Pro Wrestling. Matt Carlos was eliminated by Timothy Thatcher at 15:41 when he used the ropes for leverage on the pinfall. Carlos argued with the referee while Thatcher rubbed his victory in the face of Carlos. However, this allowed Dutra to take advantage with an “O'Conner Roll Up”, and three seconds later, Dutra retains his World Wide Internet title!
  Match time: 15:53

Winner by Pinfall and STILL APW World Wide Internet Champion
 “Double D”  Dave Dutra

  Main Event
 APW Universal Heavyweight Championship
  Jeckles The Jester
  vs.
  APW Universal Heavyweight Champion
  Malachi

The battle between The Monster and The Freak for the Universal title! After a brawl on the floor, Malachi nails Jeckles with his patented Running Boot to the face as Jeckles was getting back into the ring. This knocked the challenger off the ring apron and to the floor, allowing Malachi to escape with a Count Out victory and his Universal title.

Following the match, Malachi continued assaulting Jeckles, brutally slamming his head against the big garage door three times. Then, as Jeckles was attempting to get to his feet, he was met with another brutal Running Boot to the face, causing his head to hit the concrete garage floor and knocking him out cold. Jeckles had to be taken to the hospital shortly afterward.

Many speculate on why Malachi took the Count Out victory. Jeckles nearly matched him move-for-move inside the ring, and the Champion did not look like he wanted any future matches with Jeckles.

  Match time: 13:09

Winner by Pinfall and STILL APW Universal Heavyweight Champion
  Malachi

Our next event will be the Young Lions Cup, Saturday, April 10 from The Garage in Hayward, California.
