Never seen Double J as anymore than midcard myself *ducks a guitar shot from Izzy*  :hihi:

You can run!

Double J has had one fantastic match after another with Kurt Angle in the last 12 months (including when I saw 'em live)

He certainly deserved a title run - I wouldnt be opposed to him taking the TNA title again - but i'd want a decent feud first!

Marty Jannetty and Jay Lethal both had a fantastic match with Kurt Angle, you wouldn't put a World Title on them would you?  Admittedly for comedy value I'd give Jannetty a run but thats not the point  :D

I wasn't arguing his ability to have a decent match, my point was, just like you don't see Punk and Hardy as Main Event guys, I've never seen Jarrett as one.

2009 has featured a lot of title changes in World Wrestling Entertainment. The World Title has changed hands 8-times, while the WWE Title has changed hands 7-times

To the IWC this is bad.  Most die hard fans want long, meaningful reigns, people think short reigns de-value the belts, but is it really a minor issue, if the product is good the product is good right?  I think like this because as annoying as some quick title switches are, look at the Attitude Era people view in such a positive light as the greatest era in wrestling history (well it is to many), there were so many switches it was untrue yet we didn't complain then did we?  Or was that because we weren't smarks then?

The attitude era always had someone riding to the top and deserving their title shot. Now it's 'oh, you again taking ur turn'

I used to be a hugh Triple H fan, it mattered to me if he held the belt - and that's because the belt meant you were the best

attitude never had a clean finish - so who the best man was existed only in the mind if the fan, a title win was that justification of your faith

now, it's all fake - everyone wins clean, then loses clean and the belt is forgotten about till the ppv

years ago the champ was the heart of the company - every show featured a segment with them in, now - cena wins and just vanishes... It's like 'oh, you have the belt?'

one belt and one champ given plenty of air time is the key, the belt has to signify something
