The guy is on a roll at the moment, he looks to be starting a program with Rey Mysterio so things are going well and if he comes out of that feud well he may continue to climb up the ladder, but will that force creative to feel the need to change his name?

We have seen it in the past.

Mr. Ass was deemed a name not suiting to a top line star so he become "The One" Billy Gunn amongst other things in an effort to push him to the top.

Johnny Nitro suffered the same fate when he became John Morrison.

Now many people think Dolph Ziggler is a goofy, jokey name and its alright if you are a midcarder, but is it fine if he gets pushed to the top, or will it need "Tweaking"

Myself I like it, but I can see why some are critical.

Yeah, I don't see a main event push with that name. If they do decide to push him further, I suspect a name change. Maybe just the surname though....

Although reverting to "Nick Nemeth" probably isn't the best idea either.

Well he is on his 3rd gimmick on screen now, from Kerwin White's caddie to a Spirit Squad member to the guy he is now.  I'm guessing they just thought it was a good jokey name for a midcarder and when they gave it him didn't consider him a future Main Eventer, heck in the Spirit Squad days Kenny was meant to be the future singles star closely followed by Johnny Jeter.

It was in relation to being a headliner and they think it matters hence the previous name changes they have given people, "The All American American" crap aside theres nothing wrong with that name, and the Hardyz name was fine to, as for Holly the **** name worked for his gimmick and midcard level, its not like he ever won a World Title.
