One misleading thing about this is that TNA is on a free channel that anyone can access whereas WWE are on a subscriber channel (Sky Sports).

With a Sky Subscription.

It's on the lowest packages for Sky & Virgin Media, you have to pay even more for Sky Sports on top of that.

Its like this

for years WWF were better than WCW but WCW won the ratings because they had the hot product.

TNA are better than WWE its just nobody gives them a chance or realizes it yet because they are stuck with the "Brand'

Not all think like that, many just see the product as being inferior  :D

U seriously prefer WWE?

U can hate tna, that's ur right, but it's clearly better than WWE right now. That may change next week or next month but in august 2009 tna is more intresting and far better written product

You say it likes its fact.

Honestly I prefer Smackdown, ECW and Superstars, not RAW because that is awful, but I like them much better, and I believe they are better, but understand we all have different tastes, I don't hate TNA, heck I watch it every week, I get frustrated for the most part that with all the talent they have the shows for me overall aren't that good.

To his credit he always gives people a role, but his goofy stuff (on a pole) while making fun internet banter at places like wrestlecrap drives me nuts, and this guy still says he wanted to put the WCW Title on Tank Abbott and thinks it could have worked  :o

Let me get this straight Hammy

u are holding grudges against Russo for **** he did a decade ago but Vince keeps trotting out these dumbass guests hosts every week and that is amazing entertainment?
having Shaq make your largest athlete look stupid, had a 55 year old actor knock out your wrestler of the year with one punch.

Had a 5-3 inch geek Seth Green in a wrestling match....

but Russo is stupid?

Enjoy Cena/Orton for the 200th time this year.

Every WWE thing you referenced there is RAW, I said RAW sucks, whats your point?

The Russo reference comes from an interview he did with wrestlecrap the other year where he still said that was a good idea.

And I did say "On a pole" as in keys, he gives away gimmick matches and devalues them like its theres no tomorrow, "3 minute ladder matches" anyone?

I dont understand the Russo hate - WCW didnt fail because of him, Arquette wasnt a good idea - but no worse than a dozen other champions

Rey Mysterio as champ?

Plenty of total hacks have held the belt - Arquette is as believeable as Mysterio, FFS I'm taller than Mysterio!!

...and judging by the videos Hammy's been showing WCW was AWFUL from day one...

WCW was fantastic back then, true the PPVs were lacking but the television shows were electric.

And your trying to liken the Arquette decision to giving the belt to Mysterio?  Heck there wasn't even anything wrong with giving the belt to Mysterio, it was how he was booked once he had it that was wrong, people had issue with Arquette because he was an actor and a crap one at that, the basis for Mysterio winning is he uses his speed and agility to beat his opponents nobody is trying to say he is bigger so to speak, anyway thats another discussion, more to do with the suitable champions.

I haven't seen the late WCW to judge them anyway, the way I read it people had issue because they wanted to watch wrestling and got Kiss, Megadeth and Judy Bagwell on a pole.  RAW isn't that far removed, the point is people generally don't want celebrities, total non-wrestling stuff, thats why RAW is bollocks, its people plugging stuff all show that isn't even wrestling.

I have beef with Russo for how TNA is now, but this will get redundant fast, you guys are pro TNA, I'm pro WWE, fair play.  I'd say its fair to say there are times where our bias affects ALL our judgments.

On topic, well done TNA on getting good ratings, RAW needs competition so they get forced into a revamp.

Been out of town so I have the last two Impacts taped and I am watching the first one right now

That riot in the Impact Zone was **** AWESOME. I love when wrestling is chaotic but doesn't feel scripted and fake. That was an awesome brawl.

I am not feeling Eric Young as the leader though.......... Seemed kind of comical when he was talking big plans with Kurt Angle.................

Maybe its cause of the ridiculously lame Super Eric, but he just doesn't work as a heel IMO.
