TNA will be a 3 hour live show against RAW. Now, TNA always does a 1.1 or 1.2 I think, so for anyone who thinks they are gonna jump to a 2.5, well, I say  :muahaha: I would love to be wrong but I think TNA will do a 1.4 for this show. That would probably be their highest rating ever but they are still going up against RAW,not ECW and you can bet Vince will pull out all the stops.Anyway, post your rating and we will see who was right that week.

I think The Rock will be used that week - i'd imagine Impact will be one of the lowest ever ratings, 0.5 perhaps

* Kevin Nash and Eric Young open iMPACT. Nash says he’s booking matches tonight and that Mick Foley is on his way to a meeting with Hulk Hogan. Nash announces British Invasion vs. Sabin, Steiner & a partner vs. the Lashley’s, Eric Young vs. Hamada and more. Nash also said the person who pays the most money will get a TNA Title shot.

* Chris Sabin defeated the British Invasion in a 3 on 1 handicap match.

* Scott Steiner and Awesome Kong defeated Bobby and Kristal Lashley. Steiner pinned Kristal and push ups over her body. Weird match with both genders wrestling each other.

* Eric Young announces he will defend the Global Title on US soil tonight against Hamada of all people. Young pins her with his feet on the ropes after losing most of the match.

* ODB defeated Tara in a **** match. Both of them had to drink beers before the match.

* Rhino, Jesse Neal and Team 3D defeated Suicide, The Pope, Matt Morgan and Hernandez. Before Dinero was laid out backstage by Jesse Neal. The end came with Neal pinning Hernandez. The stips say that this means Hernandez has to face Team 3D, Rhino and Jesse alone for five minutes of the eight-man match at Final Resolution.

* AJ Styles defeated Desmond Wolfe with Kurt Angle on commentary. Daniels came down and distracted Wolfe which let AJ get the pin.

* Velvet Sky defeated Lacey Von Erich in a mud wrestling match. This was a horror fest and I think Madison was the referee.

Xplosion:

* Amazing Red defeated Homicide.

* Consequences Creed defeated Sheik Bashir.

iMPACT! SPOILERS FOR DECEMBER 17TH EPISODE OF IMPACT
by JP Nichols @ 5:30 PM on 12/8/2009

JP Nichols texted the following results from Tuesday's Impact tapings for the episode to air on December 17th. This is the final episode before the Final Resolution Pay Per View.
In a dark match, Alex Shelley won using the Air Raid Crash.

Match Number One: Brother Ray defeated Matt Morgan in a lumberjack match. The lumberjacks in the match were the other six men in their match at Final Resolution (Hernandez, D'Angelo Dinero, Suicide, Brother Devon, Rhino, and Jesse Neal). Things broke down with the lumberjacks brawling. Morgan had Ray set for the Hellevator, but Jesse hits Morgan with a low blow and then Ray hit a DDT for the victory.

Match Number Two: Hamada and Awesome Kong defeated Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky and Sarita and Taylor Wilde in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match. Kong pinned Madison.

After the match, Lauren tried to interview the Beautiful People, but Lauren got blown off.

A promo was shown on the screen hyping a Black Machismo Invitational Match.

Match Number Three: Tatanka defeated Jay Lethal with a Samoan Drop in the Black Machismo Invitational. Lethal got in more offense against Tatanka than Neidhart.

Match Number Four: Desmond Wolfe versus Daniels goes to a ten minute draw in what was described as a pretty good match

Match Number Five: A.J. Styles, Tomko, Bobby Lashley, Abyss, and Kurt Angle vs. Scott Steiner, Dr. Stevie, Raven, James Storm, and Robert Roode was scheduled but never happened. Steiner and Lashley brawled to the back and so did Abyss, Stevie, and Raven.

The match is changed to Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus with Rob Terry versus A.J. Styles, Tomko, and Kurt Angle. A.J. gets the pin on Magnus with a small package. During the match, they showed the brawling that took place in the back. After the match Angle picked up the TNA Heavyweight Title belt and there was a face off between Angle and Styles. Desmond Wolfe and Daniels attack Angle and Styles. Daniels gives A.J. Angel's Wings while Desmond puts Angle in the London Dungeon. Daniels then poses with the TNA Heavyweight Title belt.

Xplosion Match: Daffney defeated Traci Brooks with a rollup and a handful of Traci's tights

Xplosion Match: Amazing Red beat Chris Sabin to retain the X Division Title.

It could do alright, sometimes these things are tricky to predict, what I have been impressed by is the promotion.

On the UFC Finale at the weekend they showed, Hulk, Dixie and Bischoff on camera and billed Hulk as a TNA Wrestler, Dixier as TNA President and Bischoff as a "former" WWE and WCW personality.

Hulk also got some air time to plug TNA.....

We are getting some very 'attitude' TNA of late - all the bits people dislike about Russo have been wheeled out in style

Russo sticking 2 fingers up at Hogan?

Who knows - but it was great to relive the nonsense again

I think it should get slightly higher then normal as all normal TNA fans will be watching it plus others who are aware of it, It shouldn't do double the ratings though, I can see the 1.5-1.8 as a 20-30% increase in ratings seems possible.

The interesting issue here for me is the fans that haven't watched any wrestling for a while due to WWE poor programming. If some of them can be tempted back then i think it will do really well.

Vince Russo has launched a Facebook page and posted the following message, teasing surprises for Monday night:

“Thanks for joining me here on my page. I look forward to interacting with you all. Gearing up for live show on Monday–been working around the clock. I hope you all tune in so we can give the other Vince a run for his money. There are many surprises on the show . . . MANY surprises!”

- Meanwhile, Eric Bischoff is saying the same thing on his Twitter page:

“Wrestling fans love surprises…Monday Night Jan 4 shoulld be a fun night over at TNA”

Same thing I was doing anyway, download it!

It should be up on regular torrent sites, but if not I have 4 invites left to a wrestling torrent site.

Regardless it is already a success. This is the first time I've been excited for a Monday Night in I couldn't tell u how long.

Raw has turned into Saturday Night Live... A once amazing show so stale, u can barely make it through an episode, u watch out of habit but have no amazing desire to tune in.
Use to, like Dexter or any other great TV show, u couldn't wait to tune in next week to find out what was going to happen

storylines are absolutely non existant.

Can someone tell me what is interesting with DX right now?  Randy Orton and Legacy or why the **** Sheamus and Cena are even feuding?

its WCW Thunder right now

TNA announce this and BAM, i can't wait for Raw either Monday cause finally we get a compelling storyline.

TNA though, I am watching it live

U have to also factor in, no more MOnday Night football, so that should free up a lot of viewers. Those 11 million people who no longer watch wrestling are still out there.

I say Raw does a 4.8, TNA does a solid 2.2
