best "Free agents"
« on: July 13, 2009, 09:02:06 am »
i'm sure i'm going to miss a bunch of wrestlers overseas, cause i have no clue what goes on over there, so if you want to add some japanese guys, how bout only saying a couple? or at least guys we'd all know, but im thinking
petey williams and sonjay dutt, how do these 2 not have big time gigs right now? along the same lines, though he was recently cut umaga was pretty good for a big man and tna should def get him.  Who else is in the "free agent" poll that needs to be somewhere big?

also, ROH, i only know it from what i've seen online. so i'm sure they have some good guys too, but i consider anyone not in tna or wwe to be the "Free agents" as most of them dont have exclusive contracts anyway, and to make money in american wrestling you gotta be with one of these 2

I'll just list people who are still in good shape.  Guys like Sabu are broken down and Sean O'Haire missed his spot and isn't looking wonderful these days either and Matt Bentley joined a band so they don't really count.

Rob Van Dam - Obvious chance but heck the dude is uber talented and he would be great back in WWE on say the Smackdown brand, some great guys to work with, he would also fit in well with TNA, heck I know most want to see him compete against the likes of AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.

Mr. Kennedy - Is another big one and I'm guessing he won't be for long, once his 90 days expires most expect him to appear in TNA.

James Mitchell - He is one of the best free agent "Managers" in the wrestling business, the fact that neither of the big two have him is criminal, he could get some many people over who badly need a mouthpiece.

great call on rvd, i have no clue why he isnt in tna, and yeah i assume kennedy will be as well. i like james mitchel, but he just got stale after a while, and part of it is the wrestlers he is with can NEVER talk, and it's a bit too early 90's but i agree he's really good. also, has super crazy been released from wwe yet? cause he needs to be in tna, i have no clue why they got murdoch, but might as well get his partner too since wwe cuth im

Mitchell got stale because his feuds always revolved around Abyss, with his talent though they could of freshened things up.

Super Crazy got released a bit back.

Rob Van Dam has no desire to wrestle, I think his wife is fighting cancer and he has just said he is burnt out, he has made it pretty clear when he does one day return it will be WWE.

Rene Dupree.

Most people don't have the best memories of him but I think he was just poorly booked, still being very young I'd expect him to return to WWE in the next few years.

Bring back Kevin Fertig as Mordecai or Kevin Thorn, and have James Mitchell as his manager. Have him dominate for a few months, and eventually put him in a good fued with Undertaker.  Sorted. 8)

We are on the same page there, Thorn was a great character who they really blew it with.

Well if we are talking about a "Dream Team"  gothic/ministry esque stable of free agents....

James Mitchell, Kevin Thorn, Ariel, Mideon and Vampiro would win me over.
