Awesome Kong joins WWE? (Spoilers)

As noted before, WWE sources are reporting that former TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong has signed with the company but it?s still not confirmed. One source says that Kong was brought to WWE headquarters in Stamford about a month ago.

FORMER TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong has signed for the WWE, according to reports in the States.

Kong, who enjoyed huge success in TNA, is expected to start with Vince McMahon's group in the New Year.

She broke the news on her Twitter page, saying: "My dreams just came true today. I got my dream job. Yes, THAT one."

Although Kong didn't mention WWE by name, prowrestling.net's Jason Powell says company sources report that the two sides have agreed to a deal.

He adds: "For what it's worth, I see this as an excellent signing by WWE.

"They've been showcasing some of the better workers lately, and hopefully that will continue with the signing of Kong.

"She's been held up in limbo for several months while waiting for her lengthy non-compete with TNA to expire."

I hope they try to put her in the ring with some of the male wrestlers instead of just the divas/females.

I still have nightmares from the time she beat the artist formerly known as Billy Gunn...  :'(

TNA have done a lot of dumb stuff, but releasing Kong over Bubba love sponge was one of the worst.

I heard she's coming in to play the part of Shelton Benjamin's Momma.

JR mentioned he thinks they will change her name. I agree with him.

As noted earlier, Awesome Kong was backstage at last night?s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Boston, but was not used. She is set to debut imminently. She is backstage at the Dunkin? Donuts Center in Providence for tonight?s Raw.
