There has been some talk as of late that Booker T is in negotiations with WWE officials about a return to the company. They talked last year but those negotiations broke down. Booker and WWE have remained on good terms since then.

I could see him as a surprise entry at the Rumble. Then he could feud leading into Mania with whoever tosses him out.

It is being reported by PWInsider.com that Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Booker T will become the new WWE SmackDown announce team. Booker is expected to have a Jerry Lawler type role in which he will only occasionally wrestle.

This could work out really well.  After his awful RR performance I'm glad Striker has been ditched.
