WWE Dream Matches: Match 1

I recently bought WWE Allstars for xbox 360, excellent fun, and it got me to thinking.

I figure this may spice up the forum a bit if people have time to contribute.

each week, I am going to post ONE match, and U tell me how the feud goes, how it ends, who wins the overall feud.



Doesn't have to be a novel if u are short on time, just do the best u can or, if u just want to  say who'd win and how/why.



First match:

Eddie Guerrero vs CM Punk

Ooh, this could be fun. D with a good idea? I kid of course, I love ya really.


Well, I guess the obvious route to go with this one is Punk taking issue with Eddie's drug-taking past. Let's say Eddie wins the WWE Title and is at the height of his popularity, Punk comes out one week and blasts the audience for cheering a guy who was once fired from WWE after being found passed on the floor (that did happen right?...). Maybe he could say that Eddie didn't deserve a second chance, doesn't deserve to be champion etc.

They have a PPV title match which Eddie wins with his "lie, cheat and steal" tactics. Punk isn't happy and challenges him to a rematch. Punk cheats his way to a title win but claims Eddie is simply getting a taste of his own medicine and it was justified. The third and final PPV match is some sort of no DQ gimmick match in which Punk just scrapes a win. Don't really know how it might end. Maybe a Ladder Match where Eddie has a chance to grab the title but instead tries to Frog Splash punk off the ladder but misses, letting Punk climb up instead? Punk could say Eddie was too focused on either hurting him or showing off to the crowd and it cost him. He (Punk) is a sportsman who is not concerned with entertaining people, he just wants to win. This could lead to a feud with Mysterio or something....

I'm not really good with endings, so I don't know.

Might get All-Stars, seems like it could be a laugh.

HAHA hey, i come up with something good every once in awhile!

I could see a similar angle as the Jeff Hardy one.

Would be hilarious seeing the promos and stunts Eddie could play on CM as far as stealing various items of CM Punks.

I could see the feud similar to Blowups idea. Eddie in the first match cheating for  a win and CM going ballistic and pulling a similar tactic.

I however in the final match, would have Chavo interfere and cost Eddie the match only to find out somehow CM converted Chavo to the Straight Edged Society.

Shoot, I'd even have eddie coming out with a Latino Edged Society T Shirt!

So much to work with here:

Latino vs American

Drug Taker vs Straight Edge

Well Travelled worker vs Well travelled Worker

Experienced Pro vs Cocky Youth

The great thing about both of these is neither would have to be the face or heel as they both work both well.

I'd say that the feud would be for the IC/US title and Eddie would be the champion via a underhand tactics victory over a heel champion. Punk would challenge him criticizing his lie, cheat & steal tactics and making the claim that he could never beat him fairly. They would have a match on RAW with Eddie retaining but only after using his LCS tactics.

Punk would then promo that as he said Eddie could never beat him fairly and even if he did, he would probably using enhancing substances! Punks mind games could continue replaying all Eddie's biggest victories and showing how he had used LCS tactics in all of them and claim he is only where he is now COZ HE'S A CHEAT and says that the reason there is not more Latino workers in WWE is because Eddie gives them all a bad name!

In their first PPV match, Punk would bring the title belt in and mistakenly hits the ref when trying to hit Eddie. Eddie would then pick the belt up and have a chance to hit Punk with the belt, but wants to win without cheating at which point Punk reverses a the three amigos into the GTS, but the ref is still down. So Punk picks up the title belt and nails Eddie with it and as the ref is getting back to his feet, he sees Punk get Eddie up for the GTS, and hits it for the victory!

Over the next few weeks, Punk claims mind games victories and said that he made Eddie doubt himself and that made Eddie weak. He says that when Eddie would do anything to win, he didn't like him, but at least he respected him... but now he has no respect and NO TITLE!

Eddie challenges Punk to a match at the next PPV. He says that Punk is right, he changed his mindset and he should not have done that. He is proud of what he has achieved and how he achieved it! He tells Punk that their next match will be a match that suits both men... A match where hitting someone with a belt or using LCS tactics is Legal.... A LADDER MATCH!!!!

Eddie wins the rematch following a Frog Splash from the top after playing possum and smacking Punk with the belt, and then climbs the ladder for Victory!
