The Melina turning up repeately to shows after she was fired thing (and other alleged incidents) is part of the reason why he got lost, but truth is you know Del Rio (Soon to be WWE champion) lost in 4 minutes on the same show, that's just WWE booking.

...And in all honestly, he's been given plenty of decent pushes over the past 4 years. The reason he never got that main event status is he never got over properly, he's not that great on the mike and his facial expressions don't work.

I assumed the loss to Truth was more to push Truth than punish Morrison. Glass half full D! :P

I still like him, I think his more natural role under his current gimmick is as a heel though. The beard is a classic heel accessory too. If he really is going for a Jim Morrison vibe, he needs to grow it out a bit more ;D. Mike Knox could give him some pointers maybe....
