Favourite TNA wrestler?
« on: July 28, 2009, 09:54:39 pm »
Okay, so who are you tuning in for?

For me:

Kurt Angle - the complete package - fantastic mic skills, great wrestler but most importantly - brings a good match out of his opponent.

Abyss - sticking tacks into his own arms....the 14 year old in me thinks thats SO COOL. Perhaps its exploitation of a clearly 'damaged' individual but I love it. Abyss is the Kane i loved from years and years back

Matt Morgan - the DNA of TNA - damn straight. He has the look and the swaggering arrogance a young heel needs. I expect great things from him. (Though an IQ of 167 - nope! :hihi:)

You are allowed to point at that list and savage me because they are all ''big WWE style men' - guilty as charged, but I do love the X Division :banananig:

1.Kurt Angle : best wrestler period and great mic skills

2. Scott Steiner  one of my faves of all time. Love his muscles, his power, mic work. still love watching his bonecrushing suplexes

3.Robert Roode: i remember hating this guy but he has a great look, can wrestle amazingly well and is good on the mic

4.Alex Shelley  I see Chris Jericho potential in him

5.Booker T  his interviews are hilarious

6.Velvet Sky : hottest chick alive

7.AJ Styles: brilliant high flyer and every match is excellent, definitely one of the best workers in the business

8.Homicide/hernandez: amazing combo of speed and power. Hernandez could be the best big man in the business. Hope they give him a huge push.

James Storm.  In the early days I loved AMW, I liked his single run and now I think Beer Money are great, the dude is fantastic and a prime example of how more homegrown guys can successfully be pushed, him and Roode are way over with the fans....Beer....Money!

Alex Shelley, this dude has it all, I tune in hoping he is going to get more air time and more of a push.  I think someone like Heyman said of MCMG, they are young, hip, cool, blokes want to be them, women want them, so push them dammit!  As many say, he is a young Chris Jericho!

Kip James, last seen backstage giving directions while adjusting the set, few weeks before that asking Foley for a spot/job.  Give this guy something, he is Gold!

The Beautiful People - Love and Sky...er...we need a drooling smiley

British Invasion - There is something about the accent of Doug Williams that is uber cool, Brutus Magnus to, I love their promos, and to you Americans, we really don't sound like that...do we?  I wish these guys got more ring time though.

Doug Williams vs. AJ Styles, give them 25 minutes, thank you.

I tried to limit my list but there are just so many stars.

Scott Steiner's abusive ways are hysterical, the Beautiful People's vapid blonde routine is done to perfection and yes, the British Invasion are hugely promising - they are a highlight for me

MCMG are wonderful, they should get double their screen time

TNA has flaws, but they have some superb characters, great actors and some of them can even wrestle too. I don't think people appreciate just how good it is in virtually everything it does

Nobody denies the talent, I think its often how they are used.

I once would of told you I tune in for Samoa Joe, Styles and Daniels but I haven't cared for them for a long while.  Back when they were having that classic X-Division Triple Threat people thought the sky was the limit, since then, for me they haven't real been able to excel.

I'm yet to see last weeks show so I can't comment on Joe's new feud yet but I like the idea of him and Hernandez, hopefully he can start selling me again on the "Joe's gonna kill you" stuff, there was a time you really believed that.

I think TNA could really make a star out of Brutus Magnus. He can talk, his wrestling skills are ever improving and all round he could be excellent. Possible name change though, hell even just Magnus sounds better. I'd definately keep him with British Invasion for atleast another year, he'll really benefit from working with Doug Williams who should be like a mentor to him.

I started watching TNA because of Samoa Joe.

One of big reasons I stopped watching TNA was because of what they did to Samoa Joe.  :smoking:
Johnny Nitro or John Morrison or whatever name he wants to go by SUCKS!

I am in favor of CENA FREE WRESTLING!!

I miss HBK and Edge!

Thats it thats all I have to say...Because I'm Sober_Times, And I'm awweeesoomee!
