...however, I'd take Katie Lea and Mickie James in the back seat of my car
Me too!  8)

Shelton Benjamin is still a shock to me, he is a great in-ring talent, fine he doesn't have the charisma to be put in the feuds to "Main Event" but he should hardly be future endeavour material either, that is just damn skippy, him going to TNA is a given.

Katie Lea & Mickie James, 2 of the females on the roster who can actually wrestle, oh but they aren't blonde.....

.....Slam Master J needed to face Luke Gallows, then I could have happily seen him released.  Jimmy Wang Yang was no major surprise, neither was Mike Knox, although I don't think they ever tapped into his true potential.

As for Kung Fu Naki, Holy ****!  He is like the last of the "Jobbers who never get released", he's survived so many culls in the past, someone must have broken into his house and taken back those naked pics he has of Linda McMahon *shudders*

Shannon Moore commented on the recent WWE releases, through his Twitter page:

"It sucks to hear that people lost jobs today. From what I hear that place is a black hole anyway. Alot of peeps are miserable going to work. They dont understand what talent is. They would rather hire a jackass that don't know nothing about the biz rather than someone that loves it and pay pennies on the dollar to get someone to sign their life away. I think that the talent should think about making the jump. I thank god everyday for my chance to be family with TNA. From the office to talent in TNA it's nothing but fun. All I can say is @tnadixie thank you for bringing me into the family. I love going to work. Hogan F'N rocks. I wear TNA colors with pride and will bust my ass to better the company.TNA TNA TNA TNA."

^ Is this the same guy who left TNA and pissed them off when WWE gave him an offer a few years ago, it's easy to knock the competition and big up your employer when they are the only one's who want you, and let's be honest, he's got a job to sweeten the Jeff Hardy deal.

haha. Shannon Moore would probally be wrestling in some little mexican promotion if he wasn't good friends with Hardy. Still he is a talented guy.

Its funny how many of these guys defecting to TNA are all of a sudden "Part of a family" and WWE is such a hell hole.

I have no doubt working for WWE is alot more work than TNA. Which is the reason that guys go to TNA, so they dont have to work so hard. Its like working for any big company its always gonna be less personal that a smaller company.

I just hope that at some point TNA gets bigger and we can have some proper Monday Night Wars again!

WWE Diva Melina wrote the following on Twitter the other day regarding the recent WWE releases:

“I see a lot of tweets regarding Mickie Katie and Shelton. Does anyone remember how I cried when I was drafter from Raw to SD? I didn’t want to leave my friends. I love them dearly. Now not having them there for out adventures… It breaks my heart 10 times worse! I don’t know and I don’t understand but I will always love and be there for all of them. They are my friends for all eternity no matter what. hope that everyone shows their support and encouragement. Show love and how their work made u Feel. They are exceptional people and in the world of wrestling, they can be back on the roster easily like Mercury & Crime Tyme. No one will ever know the reasons why or think it makes sense but the wwe are like our parents… They did it for a reason. It’s just not known to us. But my heart is broken. This is my family.”

The feeling is that the WWE releases came because several stars from NXT and WWE developmental are scheduled to be brought to the main roster soon. The recent releases aren’t a budget-cutting move as much as just WWE making way for new members on the roster.

Shelton Benjamin’s contract was ending soon and there was always frustration internally with him. Shelton had the reputation of being one who coasted through the job and that his promos were never as good as his in-ring work.

Mickie James’ release from WWE didn’t surprise many within the company. Apparently there was talk of cutting her before WrestleMania. Word is that while on the SmackDown brand, Mickie had a few run-ins with Batista and when things became heated, he threatened to quit if she wasn’t fired and Undertaker had to step in and calm things down. It’s said that Mickie’s recent behavior on the European tour was the deciding factor in letting her go.

It’s said that Mike Knox didn’t carry himself like a main eventer backstage but he still had his share of supporters within WWE. At one point, Shawn Michaels and Triple H were among those in favor of pushing Knox.

There was speculation online that Jimmy Wang Yang’s release came after a Wellness violation because he Tweeted “three strikes and your out” after being released. Yang was referring to his third time being fired from the company.

Katie Lea’s release was not something planned in advance because the WWE creative team had her booked to move to SmackDown in the Draft.

It’s said that Slam Master J, son of the late Terry Gordy, mainly had a job because SmackDown head writer Michael Hayes considered him almost like a son. His release came as a bit of a surprise to some because Hayes had always protected him.

CTPost.com is reporting that Zavr Peygumbari, a WWE fan, has been accused of calling WWE headquarters more than 20 times and threatening "to blow up the company's offices and saying he would visit the building with a machete and a machine gun". The reason? Because WWE released Mickie James.

Peygumbari was arrested on Friday and has been ordered not to contact WWE employees, go near WWE's Stamford offices or attend any WWE events.

I was wondering why he was missing on NXT -

- WWE.com has announced that Carlos Colon (Carlito) has been released from his WWE contract as of today May 21, 2010.

According to WWE, "Carlito’s termination was due to his first violation of the WWE Wellness Program and his subsequent refusal to attend a rehabilitation facility."

He was cool (ha! get it?) when he first started out, with the Hawaiian shirts and the smaller 'fro, but then they made him too 'serious' and he kidna lost his appeal.

Hope the drugs thing isn't too serious though...

It's a shame he never lived up to his potential, good wrestler, great talker, oh well, I hear TNA are hiring......

I'll give it 1 month max. before Primo is fired.

In what can only be described as an interesting turn of events, Carlito (real name Carlos Colon Jr.) was released from WWE not for failing a drug test but rather for showing up to the TV tapings on May 17 in Toronto in no condition to perform.

He was described as being in denial that there was any kind of an issue and was ordered by the company to attend rehab. He refused initially, was given by the end of the week to change his mind and was then fired when he still had no interest in attending.

Carlito's father Carlos Colon was doing damage control on behalf of his family and son this week for a newspaper in Puerto Rico stating that Carlito was addicted to painkillers and not recreational or performance enhancing drugs

I hope the dude gets himself sorted out, he is a heck of a talent, just never lived up to his potential.
