I agree with everything you guys have to say it makes me made when someone Kaval who has more talent in this little toe than what the Miz or better Alex Riley and they let him go because the writers had nothing for him.

You see talent doesn't come into it for me! I honestly think its irrelevant.

Miz is brilliant, and years ahead of Low Ki in terms of how to work in the WWE, so in that sense i think its bad to compare them.

If you are talking about pure wrestling then, yeah Low Ki is a talent, but that is one element of working in WWE. You can get away with it in TNA, but not WWE.

I'm not questioning it with regards to talent, i'm questioning it with regards to short-sightedness and not saying "you know what lets chuck these two guys together for a few months and see if the fans take to them and see if we can find something in them we don't think is there"

Also guys like RVD, Low Ki & Danielson already have a strong fanbase from the quality of their independant work, so why not stick with them.

The truth in this is that its not the writers fault or Low Ki. Its the way WWE looks at their divisons. There is no Lightweight/Crusierweight title and the Tag Title has no focus (i.e. younger workers or High flyers or Main Eventers). Low Ki would have fit into either of those,
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry, You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath

He was a good wrestler, who they dropped the ball with, but he wasn't this Main Eventer people are making out, nor was WWE being evil for releasing him when they did, he asked for the release...

Every company in wrestling history has dropped the ball with talent, it happens.

- Kaval requested his release from WWE after being frustrated over his position with the company. WWE creative was told to job him out after winning NXT but were then told to build him up for a few weeks for the pay-per-view title match against Dolph Ziggler, which he lost.

Creative was then told to start jobbing Kaval back out again. The story is that after he lost to Drew McIntyre on the December 21st SmackDown, he asked officials if he had any heat and was told no. Kaval then asked if they had any future plans for him and was told they had no plans or ideas for him. He then asked for his release and was granted.

^Is it just me or have they basically just taken what happened to Kaval on TV the last few months, re-told it and stuck 'creative was told to...' at the front of it? :undecided:

- Low Ki, the former Kaval, recently spoke to Slam Wrestling about his WWE departure and more. Below are some highlights:

Leaving WWE:
?I asked for my release, both WWE and myself agreed that it would be best if we didn?t continue doing business together at this current time. They had no path for me or any plans in the near future so instead of wasting my time and my body for them, I decided it was time to move on.?

Politics in WWE:
?WWE is a very big political game, and I already knew what the environment entailed, if you play that political game you stand a much better chance of succeeding in a particular role or position. I?m not a politician; I don?t see the need in playing these games especially when the business is suffering.?

WWE pushing certain talents:
?People have to be very careful when they refer to the company not doing much with a certain talent. There is only one man who makes decisions, he says yes or no and that needs to be made clear. I?m not going to even mention his name but the company has their own view on who is going to be a star or not.

If you don?t fill in that particular prototype or that idea then you are going to have a more challenging time in regards to a push or trying to excel. I feel this was the case with me; they have always been more about bigger guys. The company could have been behind me a lot more. They also could be behind a lot of guys more.?

Michelle McCool & Layla mentoring him on NXT:
?A lot of people took exception to it, I guess ,because how over the top their personalities are, but I didn?t think anything of it. Again I saw it as a challenge, how I was going to adapt to this situation, how I was going to make the best of it.

I got along great with those two women. The biggest effect they had on me was relaxing me, up until that point I had been more of a fighter, more sports orientated less entertainment based,? he said. ?I think that because their personalities were so over the top it actually relaxed me and they had me laughing a whole bunch, during the entire time we worked together.?

Seems he asked for it.  He was sick of jobbing.

I guess the Hornswoggle stuff went too far.  He never recovered from that...

John Morrison issued the following statement via Twitter concerning Melina, his girlfriend, who was released this afternoon from her contract with WWE.

?I?ve always believed that Melina is the most talented Diva ever employed by World Wrestling Entertainment. (not to mention the hottest!) Her face conveys emotion. Vince McMahon likes to say ?Television is a feeling? and I agree with him. That?s what Sports Entertainment is all about. Melina?s presence on Television, aside from the obvious (she be sexy!) is raw emotion- joy, rage, surprise, disgust? her passion just pours out of her

Melina?s presence on Monday Night Raw will be missed by the WWE universe? and especially by me.

I think this is the end of a chapter in the book of @RealMelina ? I met Melina on my audition for Tough Enough 3, I never forgot the smile, and hug she gave me when I made the show and she got cut and told to go home. I?ve stood next to her with Joey while MNM was yelled at; told we?d never make it, we were worthless. I?ve seen her come back from 2 career threatening injuries. She is one of a kind, and talented enough to do whatever she wants. I?m proud to be her man. I love her, and will support whatever she chooses to do next.

#staystrong #thankyoumelina.?

Melina wrote the following about her WWE release on Twitter today:

"Feel free to Tweet, write, call @WWE about how u feel about anything. You deserve to be heard regarding any matter. Strength in numbers. I love you all so dearly and reading all of your tweets. Seeing the trend... I know w/out a doubt, I'm a lucky woman! In the next few days you will see many updates on the matter, so keep checking www.RealMelina.com I will definitely Blog & Vlog about it. I've been through quite a bit of stuff in my life. I Overcame each time. I'll never give up. Not now. I'll Always fight & #StayStrong "

Melina also sent a Tweet to John Morrison in response to his heartfelt reaction to her release:

"@TheRealMorrison U just made me cry. I love you so much. I'm very proud of what u have accomplished & to have u as the love of my life."

Chris Masters issued the following statement regarding his WWE release today:

"Obviously, I'm surprised by the move. But I'm optimistic. I'm going to move forward and see what lies ahead. I still love this business and I'm not going to give up because of this small set back. I want to explore and see what options I have for the future."

Only really gutted about the Chris Masters release.  Last time he got fired, he slimmed down, improved in the ring, he's had lots of very good matches on Superstars and really worked hard to become a decent talent.  Kozlov timing is weird.  He's just won twice this week already.

And how in the blue hell is Tyler Reks still here?

Masters was a an enchacement talent, they jobbed him out so many times since his first real and only decent push. For Vlad it's pretty much the same.

I do think the Melina and Gail Kim releases are bad though, it's typical though now that it's the Diva's division and not the Womens.

They didn't get quite get Main Event length mathes years ago, but during the mid 2000s, Trish and Lita for example would get longer mathes in 1 night, than the entire divas division gets in a month now, with the 3sec and 1 min mathes now.

It's riddiclous. The female wrestlers should go back to being women wrestlers and the other Divas back as valets.

I agree about Gail Kim but I think Melina pretty much wrote her ticket out of town with her bitching about the Trish Stratus Wrestlemania match.

I guess I'll mention David Hart Smith, the dude was really boring and bland on the mic.  The family name only carries you so far.  He'll still young though and I guess he could return if he ever improves his promo work.
