How are regular non-mark fans supposed to understand that. According to Raw this week, he was never employed in the first place!

I was convinced as soon as he came out that it was Tyson Kidd.

At least its "Half-realistic", it should just of been a your fired match, then it would of worked properly, working firings in to storylines, the recent Ortiz and Kendrick firings could have been "Your fired" matches.  TNA did that well with Beer Money, I mean you say what would non marks think, but what about people who don't view the internet, they never make a big thing about firings, if you don't use the next in a few months you'll conclude Kendrick and Ortiz are either injured or fired I guess.

I thought it might have been Lance Storm.

As for Eugene..... meh.

Reminds me of when they brought Grand Master Sexay back a few years ago, he had one TV match, then got released again. :hihi:

-- As announced Friday afternoon on WWE.com, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore was released from his WWE contract. According to several sources, the feeling is that he showed up at last week's Raw taping looking terribly out of shape and Vince McMahon made the decision right then and there to cut him loose. He had just been hired back about a month ago.

McMahon is pretty big on first impressions. For instance, his first impression of Takeshi Morishima following a tryout match a year ago this week killed any possible interest in signing him. An issue of Power Slam noted the following: "August 19: Still on the warpath, Vince claims two more victims: he basically says Morishima looks like a giant, fat girl and that Laurinaitis was wasting his time by hyping such a s colourless and podgy wrestler. Vince also sagely notes that because fellow Japanese name Kenzo Suzuki tanked in WWE, obviously Morishima was likely to be a failure as well — solely on the basis of their shared ethnicity."

Reportedly, creative team wanted to get Eugene on television very quickly, so the fact that he was released after his first appearance adds further credence to the theory given. (source: www.f4wonline.com)

Speaking to UK tabloid newspaper “The Sun“, WWE Champion Randy Orton revealed he is upset with the again released Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore. Below is what he had to say:

“Eugene was just given a second chance.

“He came back two weeks ago and came in a little heavy from where [management] wanted him to come in.

“Nick is a good friend of mine. I pulled some strings to get his job back and he comes back all overweight.

“So all in all, I am a little upset right now with him.”

I'd of never guessed at these 2 being friends.

Eric Escobar could well be the next one to be entered into this threas as a "Future Endeavour" dude.  After watching this weeks show I'm doubting his place on the roster.  His association with Vickie is over already, and in a big way, it makes you think he will either turn face, or he is on his way out, the "Only title shot" stipulation makes me think his days are numbered.

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has released former ECW star Steve "DJ Gabriel" Lewington. Gabriel debuted on the ECW brand and worked a short stint with Alicia Fox until he was sent back down to developmental.

I think we are likely to see a few given the pink slip over the next couple of months.

I though Gabriel went when Ortiz went.... Oops

He never really got much of a chance, by all accounts he is a solid wrestler.

Other developmental talent cut by World Wrestling Entertainment this past Friday include Dino Carter (Rashard Goff), Lennox McEnroe (Byron Wilcott), Leroy Morgan (Max McGuirk) and Lift Sawyer (Aaron Reed). All four grapplers have been removed from the FCW talent page.

Furthermore, it has been confirmed that Chris Raaber (Christoph Herzog) parted ways with the organization several weeks ago. "The Bambikiller" has since returned to his native Austria.

Carter, 24, was an amateur wrestler at Cleveland State University in Ohio. He had only briefly competed for Florida Championship Wrestling as he made his debut just last fall.

McEnroe had been under contract to WWE since November 2008, but was apparently unable to find his niche in the company. He has wrestled across the globe and was one of the featured wrestlers on TLC's short-lived wrestling reality program, The Bussey Bunch.

Morgan is the son of former WWF ring announcer Mike McGuirk not to mention grandson of legendary wrestling promoter Leroy McGuirk. He inked a developmental contract this past summer and like Carter, briefly appeared on FCW shows.

Sawyer is a 6 foot 8 inch, 295 pound former bodybuilder the company signed in June. He sparingly competed on shows.

DJ Gabriel (Steve Lewington) and Sweet Papi Sanchez (José Torres) were also released on Friday.

Yearly talent cleansing, balancing the books or creating cash for a new signing?
