I love Sheamus. He has a very interesting look to him
Yeah, he's one of the few guys on the roster who hasn't made themselves orange with fake tan.  ;D

This weeks show was a bit medicore.

Abrahma Washington was awful!

Best match was easily Tatsu & Benjamin, it was quite decent.

Zeke was made to look impressive, paired with Kozlov those two could make a decent modern version of The Twin Towers, if they tore through the roster with badass power moves, spinebusters, powerbombs, chokeslams and just general destruction, you wouldn't question it, heck look at the size of them, Zeke especially, those trunks need to be changed to...something longer....its getting too close to Ahmed Johnson territory for comfort.

Just watched this weeks show, thoughts:

Segment 1: Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin was a really good way to kick off the show, and maybe all is not lost with Benjamin, for a heel he got a relatively clean win except for the mid match distraction from Kozlov who is actually starting to grow on me a bit.

Segment 2: Yoshi Tatsu vs. Paul Burchill was another nice little match Burchill continues to show why he still has a job despite not getting himself over, he is a great in-ring wrestler, much like Charlie Haas he is one of the best on the roster but unfortunately he is being forever jobbed out, Katie Lea is equally great in the evil but sexy valet role.  Tatsu meanwhile is doing well and has the best theme music going, I question how he has got so over so quickly, there were too many "Yoshi" chants considering visually the crowd looked dead, maybe they have taken to dubbing them in again.  Striker sounded great on commentary to at the end of the match "You have got to be karate kidding me"  :D

Segment 3: Tiffany and Tyler Zeks.  She compliments him on how impressive he has looked on Superstars?  The guy jobbed 2 straight weeks, so next week he is meant to debut on ECW?  Hopefully the guy gets a win otherwise he is doomed already.  Although Tiffany seems to fancy him.

Segment 4: Goldust vs. Zach Ryder.  Cue the 2nd best entrance music in WWE, here comes Zach Ryder... Striker bigs up the entrance theme and also references Goldust's 9 **** Title wins, nice.  Back and forth match, nothing special, put Ryder over well, wins with the "Zach Attack", commentators make it out to be a bit of an upset, Ryder is on the rise.

Segment 5: RAW Recap...Bah!

Segment 6: Sheamus vs. Jobber.  Bit of talking at the start gets plenty of "What" chants.  Well at least he gets a response, take note Rob Conway.  Is he really that pale or is it the contrast with all the fake tan superstars?  Quick squash win.

Segment 7: Tommy Dreamer vs. Vladimir Kozlov.  Dreamer actually got in more attacks than I expected, Kozlov won in about 5 minutes and the match was actually alright, Kozlov is definately improving.  Post match Kozlov takes out Christian too and stands tall.  Surely he'll be added to the match at Night of Champions now.

This weeks show highlighted one of the good things about ECW, there is no big gap on the little roster, anyone can beat anyone.

Tatsu beats Benjamin
Benjamin beats Christian
Christian beats Kozlov
Kozlov beats Dreamer

Then you look to RAW and how Triple H and John Cena squash the likes of The Miz and MVP.

Anyway, good show, much better than last week.

ECW this week was back to being fantastic, firstly Yoshi Tatsu & William Regal put on a great match then Benjamin vs Goldust was pretty decent and suprisingly Paul Burchill & Tyler Reks had a very impressive match (Not to mention Katie Lea looked killer!). Ezekiel Jackson looked decent in a squash but then Kozlov came down and stared off with him until Kozlov attacked his opponent, does this mean a new tag team? I actually think it would be a good route to go with them for the time being, they can be the ever menacing tag team WWE lacks.

Lastly, for the first time I really enjoyed The Abraham Washington Show with Christian & Dreamer as guests. Very productive segment which not only put over the ECW match at NOC but also gave Washington a good entertaining showing of himself and not to mention traces of a Christian heel turn....Jericho's partner? I hope so!

Just done watching this weeks show.  Pretty solid stuff, looks like they are trying to push Zach Ryder to the next level....

Woo, Woo, Woo...You Know It!  :banananig:

Also Sheamus and Reks are looking decent although I'm gutted every time I see Burchill job, he is too good for that.

Same, he's getting more chances on ECW but still he could easily be made a big star there. Hell his match with Christian afew months back was great! He showed he could hang at the top.

A very audible "This Is Stupid" chant that took place during "The Abraham Washington Show" on last night's episode of ECW at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum was edited out by WWE's production staff. According to a fan in attendance, it was very loud and even stopped Zack Ryder while he was cutting his promo.

Whenever his segment is on, I end up tuning him out as he bores me.  Give the time to other wrestlers who deserve it.  I only caught the ECW title match this week, but I have to admit it was quite entertaining.  Good work by both Dreamer and Christian this week.

That opening segment was horrendous!

It seemed like an effort to maybe turn Shelton Benjamin face, but it failed, big style.  The only high point was when they started brawling, that was fine, but the build towards that...  ::)

The Main Event was a decent match, nice way to end the feud.

Also good to see the continued push of Sheamus, I'm really liking the guy, they are putting Goldust to good use with him now as well, Goldust is a hell of a talent and may be past his best but is still very capable of putting guys over.

ECW was decent this week. The only thing now is were does Christian & Dreamer go from here? Does Dreamer stay in his elevated status, or does he go back to being a jobber once more? As for Christian, what opponents can he have respectable fued with? It seems almost inevitable that Zeke and Kozlov will be a tag team, so that only leaves Zach Ryder and Benjamin who looks to be turning face now. Hurricane Helms perhaps?

Questions, Questions, Questions.

Oh, speaking of 'Big Zeke' anyone else notice the "Ahmed Johnson" chants during his entrance?  :D

Dreamer's time is done, and for that I'm happy, he is a legend from the Old ECW, in WWE he has always been booked as a fat medicore guy, time to build to the future.

Zeke is like Johnson on roids, he suffers the same trunk malfunctions to (We need a puke smiley)

Who gets the shot?  The Miz!

An Englishman, An American And A Russian Walk Into A Bar...

which may be a tad long for a stable name. All I know is, I have two of them in the WWE game and I expect them to crush all opposition! :boxing:
