Former TNA Knockout Champion Angelina Love, of the Beautiful People, received her release from TNA yesterday after TNA learned her working visa expired, or is about to expire shortly.

According to several sources within the company, there is some sort of an issue with Love’s work visa expiring, and not being renewed as needed.

Love, from Canada, has been working on a work visa originally granted to her when she was under a WWE Development contract. Sources indicate that the visa has either expired, or will expire shortly.

With Love’s work visa expiring, TNA has their hands tied and can’t use her without having the proper paperwork. There was a lot of unhappiness within TNA regarding the entire situation. There was more of a disappointment, as opposed to heat on Love for allowing it to expire.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have been the top heel Knockouts and were scheduled to be involved in a very important bout at the TNA No Surrender PPV in just a few weeks.

As of press time, there is no word as to how Love will be written out of TNA storylines. We’ll have more information in the coming days.

Its strange they'd let it get to this.

I've read the Visa she was working off was her WWE Visa and they only realised come contract time that she has been working without one for 2+ years and she has been ditched because legally this could screw the company up, the more I read the less likely it seems she'll return, which is a damn shame, she is the crown jewel of the division, one that could be in trouble if reports of Krystal and Candice being signed are true.

Well if she is banned from the country for 10 years like some have reported she could be, she is screwed.

It wouldn't surprise me though if WWE made a play for her, and she might be quite tempted, money talks...

According to a new report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE sources believe that former TNA Knockout Angelina Love will be at the upcoming WWE Monday Night Raw taping in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 14. She resides in Toronto so her being there seems to make sense now that she is no longer affiliated with TNA and was under a WWE developmental deal from 2004 to 2007.

Love, who was just released by TNA over work visa issues last week, is only expected to attend the show and not actually wrestle at this point. It should be noted that Love's previous contract with TNA was about to expire and there was a fear internally that she would try and negotiate with WWE since she hadn't signed a new deal. WWE did get her a working visa when she was under a developmental deal working in the Deep South Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling territories before her release in May 2007. This move was heavily questioned in WWE and later when The Beautiful People became one of the top acts in TNA and a huge ratings draw on Impact.

The story from TNA is that when they realized just how much trouble they could be in for using her for the last two years without proper working papers, they made the quick decision to release her and made it seem as if they had just become aware of it. The reaction to this is that it would be surprising that TNA would just have been aware of this unless they thought her visa WWE got her would still be valid, although that generally never works out and the employer is expected to get taken care of. Based on what is known, TNA never applied for a visa for Love and when they found out they could be in trouble they cut her. It is always possible the government could try and make things hard for Love and that she could be banned from coming into the U.S. for two years and make her pay back any salaries for that period she obtained illegally. However, the belief is that is unlikely to happen.

The Beautiful People were at Pro Championship Wrestling's ''Thanksgiving Turmoil'' on Saturday in Midlothian.

So was Quick Hits. And no one ever will confuse the two. Or three.

Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, TNA's original Beautiful People, made a special appearance at the Don Preston Recreation Center that included a bit of in-ring action against Jenna Monroe and December. Bad girl December ended up with the duo's trademark grocery bag over the head. All to the delight of the capacity crowd.

The dynamic duo took time from posing for photos and signing autographs to spend some quality time with your correspondent (well, that's my definition of it, probably not theirs, but what the heck).

So, will the original Beautiful People ever be reunited?

''Oh, absolutely,'' Love said. ''Don't believe everything you hear, and don't believe everything you read.''

Unless, of course, it's in Quick Hits.

''We'll definitely get on that train again,'' Love said.

Any idea when?

''It'll be soon,'' she said. ''That's all I can say -- soon.''

Love still stays in shape, and her former partner is active as a TNA Knockout.

''Of course,'' Love said. ''I've got a little bit more time, but I definitely, whenever you make a comeback or whatever -- for people who haven't seen you in a long time -- you don't want to come back looking worse. You definitely want to come back looking bangin' so ...''

Would Quick Hits be out of line to say Love looks bangin' (even if there might be some uncertainty regarding the exact definition of that phrase)?

''Absolutely not,'' she said, much to my relief -- and not relishing the prospect of being smacked upside the head by two such lovely ladies. ''You can say that any time.''
