Downloaded and ready to watch when I have a minute.

If i remember how it ended, she crossed over and met Spock and found out Peter is the parallel Peter.

WOW! What a first episode to the new season.

I loved the start with Olivia literally flying back into the show, its little comedic touches are classic, Peter's dad is still the best, when the new agent asks, is he really crazy, oh yes!  Speaking of the new agent I'm hoping and guessing she is a permanent addition, probably to replace the unfortunately dead Charlie, you just knew he'd been killed when you didn't see him kill the shapeshifting thing and also since the shapeshifter was unharmed by bullets earlier.

Was a very good return. Interestingly it was 5 minutes shorter than a usual episode so I reckon that had a factor. They ripped off the reveal at the end of the last season of Lost though!

I'll miss Charlie Francis voice most of all.

Aye I noticed on the download it was the same length as most tv shows.

1st Season was part of the "less commericials more programming" inciative right?  Maybe that was only a 1 season deal.

Maybe Charlie can still appear, I mean the shapeshifter will probably get an episode out of him (or half) before changing, plus there is the other universe version.

The executive producers of Fringe have revealed that the show could go on for six seasons.

Asked during a conference call about a possible third season, Jeff Pinkner replied that producers are "only limited by our own imaginations".

"If we're lucky enough, we have six seasons that we're really excited about," he said. "It's such a great show to work on, because we're only limited by our own imaginations.

"Once you start to get into this wonderful framework of the characters and stuff, it's so much fun. We're constantly saying, 'Oh, what about this?' and then all of a sudden, we're like, 'Well, that will be a season three thing, yeah'.

"Then before you know it, there's so many things on the season three pile that you realise that it takes shape."

Fringe is brilliant and has fast become one of my favourite shows.

Its kinda like XFiles mixed with 24 and i like that.

Walter cracks me up and it has that kinda simple comedy thing running through but is serious enough at the same time.

Good Good Show
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry, You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath

Exactly, the balance is great, a nice bit of humour, some great mysteries and characters, and you don't feel they are making things up as they go along, you really do believe they have a plan and it all mapped out, I like how as well as the Main Story you get completely different mysteries EVERY episode, they have a wealth of different ideas to play with and they do it so well.

Agreed.

The Obsever episode is a classic example of that. You get like a crime show (Girl being Kidknapped) but with the XFiles like story (With the bald guys)

I have to say along with Dexter that its probally the show i look forward to the most every week

Talk about an evil plot! No sooner had NBC come out with its midseason schedule, which positions Chuck and Heroes to return in early January before the competition gets too heavy, than Fox made a Machiavellian move, according to Broadcasting & Cable. The network is bringing in a brand-new House and Fringe to do Monday TV battle in an attempt to destroy NBC's struggling little shows. Those bastards!

Could Chuck's new evil organization the Ring be behind the devious plot to take over Mondays? Or maybe Heroes' Sylar? Or perhaps this is part of Fringe's pattern?

NBC's schedule has Heroes premiering two new episodes of the series on Monday, Jan. 4, beginning at 8 p.m. And on Sunday, Jan. 10, Chuck premieres its third season with back-to-back episodes. Then on Monday, Jan. 11, Chuck and Heroes have their regular timeslot premieres at 8 and 9 p.m., which would have given them a bit of time before facing crushing competition.

But Fox has thrown down the gauntlet and slated original installments of House and Fringe for Jan. 11. That's an obvious slap in the face for NBC's programming. While Fringe was scheduled to return with originals on Thursday, Jan. 14, House wasn't scheduled to return until Monday, Jan. 25.

The Fringe episode is an unaired episode from season one called "Unearthed" that has the deceased Charlie in it, according to TheFringereport.com. No word which episode of House will air. This move by Fox does hint that the network is trying to build viewers for Fringe (while screwing the competition).

24 is still scheduled to premiere in the Monday 9 p.m. timeslot (opposite Heroes) on Jan. 18, while Fringe will head off the air for seven weeks starting in February to make way for the new reincarnation series, Past Life. Fringe will then return with new episodes on April 1.

This isn't the only change to Fox's midseason schedule. They just announced that American Idol and Human Target will be flipping slots on Wednesdays as well, with Target moving up to the 8 p.m. slot on Jan. 27, the week after it premieres. Additional tweaks have also been reported.

So we get to see Charlie one last time then, interesting, strange it never got aired first time around though.

Fringe's consulting producer has hinted that the show may be renewed for a third season.

Akiva Goldsman told Entertainment Weekly that she has planned some stories for Jasika Nicole's Astrid.

"One of the things we're talking about for next season is seeing some more of her life, understanding her more, and giving her some time to shoulder more episodes."

Fringe continues Thursdays at 9pm on Fox.

Sounds good. She doesn't get much besides looking after Walter Bishop.

Fox has renewed Fringe for a third season.

The science-fiction series has struggled in the ratings since moving from Tuesdays to Thursdays.

However, Entertainment Weekly reports that Fox has now confirmed that it has picked up another season of the show.

It will return with new episodes on April 1.

Not sure if anyone saw the last episode of Fringe, but i thought it was incredible.

If they keep producing that kinda quality it'll be one of the best shows on TV.
