WWE creative ''exhausted''
« on: October 06, 2009, 06:56:27 pm »
Rumours swirling the net has WWE's recent creative bankruptcy down to ''exhaustion'' from too many PPV's and shows

Credible?

Creative dont seem to have any ideas at all - is that 'PG' at work, is that Linda's senate nonsense at work or a combination of factors?

Does appear we have a perfect storm of huge restrictions, limited ideas and over worked writers

...a 60 min Iron Man match (while potentially a great match) is a classic way of wasting time....
A nobody's opinion on the world of cinema

Less is more.  Why do we have more tv shows and PPVs at a time when the product is weaker?

Issues that creative have is many aren't from a wrestling background, they have PG restrictions, and they have to tell wrestlers EXACTLY what to say rather than giving them freedom to be themselves.

Take John Morrison his promos sound forced and crap, yet he wrestlers and looks like the NEW Shawn Michaels, if he was given a chance to be himself, to be cocky again and a bit of a dick and write his own stuff I'd guess his promos would be pretty damn good.

I question the rumours though of creative being "stretched", doesn't EVERY show have a different set of writers?

Speaking of which is Michael Hayes the one to thank for Smackdown's improvements (until Batista appeared...)

....And which great guy has written ECW as of late?  Seriously Paul Burchill is the #1 jobber of the show, yet he has been given a chance to show more personality and get himself over more than half the midcarders on the other programs.  The show is cool because its like a nice little family, you know everyone, they have all carved out their niche and much like Attitude you feel anyone on the show can beat anyone, there is no Triple H domination.
