Psycho Sid Promotions sent out the following e-mail earlier today, saying he’s headed to TNA:

The Return of the Master and Ruler of the World “Psycho” Sid Vicious is coming to TNA Wrestling!

Spike TV Thursday Nights!

Jeez they're signing more old guys.  Man it really seems like a rebirth of the dying days of WCW.  OTOH, he can probably wrestle a better match than Hogan at this point.

What exactly was he doing on the top rope anyway (in the injury clip)?  He's always been a ground base offense wrestler for the most part.  First time I've seen the injury clip and it was somewhat gruesome.

I've read that WCW management suggested he try a top-rope move. Don't know what they hoped to gain from it, since that was like, the second-last WCW PPV ever and they were nearly out of business. Perhaps they thought a top-rope move from Sid would boost ratings or something??

Just another dumb thing they did, er, why not try to spice up your reportoire dude, you never go up top, what gives?

They found out that what gives what his leg, poor dude, he's only just been easing himself back into wrestling in the past few years with the odd match here and there, although I read he still has a bit of a limp, at the time it seemed to be a total career ender.

Whats interesting is when I watched a recent shoot interview with him and Scott Hall they put down TNA and said WWE was "The Stuff" and they were only interested in returning there and to the "Big Time" and they had zero interest in TNA, I'm pretty sure Sid even said they'd made contact before and he'd knocked 'em back.

So this story is either whack, or he was talking bollocks!

- Regarding Sid Vicious joining TNA, nobody still within the company knows anything about him coming in besides what he wrote on his website.

One feeling is that either he made it up to try and get WWE to show interest in him. The other feeling, which is more likely, is that he is one of the guys Eric Bischoff has been talking with independently from TNA about coming in. It’s said that there are several big names on that list.

Every reaction from people in TNA when asked about Sid coming in is a negative one. It’s said that Sid’s name has only been brought up once in the booking history of TNA and that was for a planned one-time shot. Former TNA writer Dutch Mantell called Sid up a while back for the one-time deal and the conversation ended with Sid chewing Dutch out for the offer.

Recent reports from the American Wrestling Rampage tour of Europe said Sid left the tour with torn biceps and if that’s the case,  he’s going to be out of action for a while.

On his Facebook account (which is where the “bizarre hair” photos initially surfaced), Sid Vicious put up a link to a petition for fans to sign concerning “the hiring of Sid Eudy/Sid Vicious to add to the overall benefit of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.”

Regarding the petition, Vicious wrote: “Petitions don’t work…but Sign it anyway just to show them where the Power lies. Spread the Word! Somebody made this Petition as a Labor of love so I Understand how that feels..We all know how it is. you gotta get in there and get your hands dirty and do whatever you got…ta do to get your boys back on TV where they belong…it’s sad but thats the way it is now! it’s all in the fans hands now!”
