I laughed on RAW during the HBK, there will be "Tables matches, Ladders matches and....Chair Matches".

I mean you win the first by putting your opponent through a table, then the other by climbing the Ladder for the title, but how do you win a "Chair(s)" match?  Hit your opponent with a chair?  :D

2 matches announced, and I like the look of them both.

Just read this, which I didn't know:

After WWE's TLC PPV on December 13, the company will go seven weeks without any PPV events. This will be one of the longest stretches without a PPV event until January 31 when the Royal Rumble is presented.

Thats cool, 7 weeks build-up should give some real meaning and depth to the matches/feuds (I hope) heading towards Wrestlemania!

Posted a thread about rapid pushes. Sheamus has been around a bit - but no one watches ECW so he's basically a month in the job to the fans

...this is much to soon, especially as their are guys with better claims, haven't had a chance to develop any sort of 'connection' with him

I like the Sheamus thing.

Its better than the same old names. And really who else on the RAW brand is ready? Swagger... No, Miz.... No, .... Priceless.... already had a Cena Feud.

Its got people talking. New guy on the block beats up a few guys and gets above his station and goes for the champ... thats a believeable story in my eyes.

They did something similar with Umaga (albeit not this quick) and Cena beat him and then he kinda lost his way in my eyes. It will be interesting to see what this match brings.... one thing is for sure if Sheamus wins he will be massive star as all the sounds out of WWE is respect and praise for Sheamus. But if he loses... then if anything that will be a bigger test.

As I said in the other thread, Sheamus will be protected, going through a table is alright, he'll stay unpinned and having never tapped out.  As for who else was ready, true Swagger is in limbo, he did not last long at the weekend and pairing him up with Masters and Chavo on RAW just made him look like a loser.  The Miz is on a role and if anyone else had the strap I'd say he WAS ready, they have got his character back on the fast track to greatness and he is doing so well, he needs to AVOID Cena, his only low point in the past 12 months was that feud, he got made to look like a worthless midcarder.

Shelton Benjamin was the obvious choice to face Christian because his reputation for these matches means it'll be a showstealer, although we all know he won't win either, still it'll be a great match on the card.

Can't see D-X winning, unless its a very short reign, HBK does church on tuesdays, only thing in their favour is Jericho highlighting how they have never been Tag Champs and never will, when people are usually that overly cocky they are generally destined for a fall.

Would u have Sheamus win?

I would - dont like the guy, dont think he's ready...

...but, it would really shake things up, WWE is so stale and complacent (as are the fans) it will force everyone to sober up - even if its only till the rumble

On a related note - Cena seems to just disappear as champion, other people spend half their time discussing being champ (Orton..). Cena doesnt seem to do anything with the belt, seems a waste of timing handing him it - as if he needs it anyway

I'm not sure Sheamus winning is the most important thing. Its how they handle him losing. Like Hammy said its easy for him as he could dominate the match and give Cena a good kicking and then get caught with a F-U and match over..... its from that point they have to be careful as if they let Sheamus get up and beat him silly, it will continue the feud which you would assume will be to Sheamus determent.

If Sheamus wins i'd be super suprised and i don't think it should happen going towards Mania. If you are gonna give the title to a newish guy then IMO Summer is the time in WWE.

They could just let Sheamus win and let Cena win the title back at the NWO Elimination Chamber match.  It wouldn't disrupt the potential Cena vs Undertaker match.

I, like most others, am sure that Sheamus will lose at TLC, but hopefully he doesn't go the way of Umaga, and go from being a monster heel to a monster jobber. The character's grown on me the past few weeks and it would be a shame (geddit?! :D O0 :stonecold:) if he ends up being used to put guys over...

im pretty sure sheamus will lose but they could stick him with the belt till rumble and give it back to cena than. that has happened before. quick one month reign, make him destroy chamber competition and be one of the last to be eliminated than give him a decent opponent at mania, possible screwjob in the chamber or at rumble or something. Maybe a sheamus win and a triple threat at rumble where sheamus can lose by being **** by whoever he would fued with going into mania or vice versa. maybe he **** over whoever had a shot to win. Not saying i like or dislike this, just throwing it out there.  :smoking:
Johnny Nitro or John Morrison or whatever name he wants to go by SUCKS!

I am in favor of CENA FREE WRESTLING!!

I miss HBK and Edge!

Thats it thats all I have to say...Because I'm Sober_Times, And I'm awweeesoomee!

I think WWE has a good thing with Sheamus.

Imagine if he still hasn't been Pinned or Submitted by Wrestlemania..... Taker vs Sheamus? Unbeaten at Mania vs "Unbeaten". Someone's run will end!
