Just started watching it and not really sure what to think.

I enjoyed the 1st Episode, Hated the 2nd and have loved the 3rd and 4th episodes.

Its one of those shows that has an amazing idea with many directions to go and if the writing is good enough the show could be "Lost" big, but if the writing isn't up to scratch then it could be another amazing idea go by the wayside.

Apprantly ABC sent the writers back to the drawing board for a month of writing as they didn't like the first two episodes and i think they were right coz the 3rd and 4th episodes had much more progression and more excitement.

I've just got to the end of the 3rd episode.  I like this show, there are moments (with the younger characters) where I was thinking this was going to be Star Trek meets Party of Five but I'm now thinking I was wrong there, when I wiki'd the premise and such I was skeptical (gave it a try cos Evolution was, we agree on many a show) but the Priest/FBI Agent combo works and Chad Decker is fun, the guy keeps reminding me of Michael J. Fox in Mars Attacks though  :hihi:

I'm liking the show and i look forward to seeing where they go with it.

My only issue is how long can they keep it from all out war. Having said that for those who saw the end of Episode 4.... maybe it could be longer than i think.

Gutted its not back until March, that is a crazy gap to have IMO after only 4 episodes when people probably still haven't properly connected with characters, its stuff like this that kills series dead in the water before they are barely up and running.

Agreed Mate.

I thought episode 3 & 4 were great. Lets hope enough people care about its return to get some solid numbers upon its return.

V made a poor return to ABC last night, according to overnight viewing figures.

The fifth episode of the Elizabeth Mitchell-fronted sci-fi series - the first to air in 2010 - pulled in 7.29m during the 10pm hour.

Last year, the show premiered to an impressive 13.95m on Tuesday, November 3. The second and third episodes were seen by 10.56m and 9.26m, and the last visit of 2009 managed 9.2m.

Yet to see the episode, but what do they expect after such a long break?  I really like the series and I can barely remember things.

Exactly. They should have replayed the previous 4 episodes over two days before the new Episode. I don't understand all these breaks. I remember that there has always been a mid-season break but shows seem to do like 2 episodes at a time and it totally removes the viewer from the show.

Its hard enough to keep up with some shows when they are on back to back, let alone when they have 3 weeks off after every 2 episodes.

I understand the Olympics stopped some shows but 1 mid-season break is enough and they need to sort it out.

Seen the first episode back and as much as I liked it, combined with the ratings I think this show will get cancelled, for most I think it'll be too slow moving, people watch Alien Invasion shows and by this point they expect more violence, we got a glimpse at the end of the episode but I sense for the most part this is a show which implies it more than it has it, like I said, I'm enjoying it but I can't see this program getting renewed, which is a shame.

You know, the CGI mothership on this show is staggeringly bad...
