Charlie Haas reportedly asked WWE for his release within the last few months. Apparently officials were going to grant him the release at first but changed their minds and gave him a raise instead.

There was a rumor going around that Kurt Angle had a spot for Haas in TNA so WWE kept Haas around instead of having him jump to TNA.

The dude is a superb wrestler, one of the best in the company, he just has no charisma, he is the sort of guy who thrives in a tag team, unfortunately the company isn't that way inclined.

As noted before, WWE recently gave Charlie Haas a raise after he asked for his release. WWE has decided to continue to pay him while he sits at home and currently, the creative team has no plans for him to return to the storylines.

WWE destoryed Haas current role. WHy pay him more to sit at home, I dont understand why they wont let him grow in TNA, if he amounts to anything they could just buy him back.
