7 Weeks off and I have no idea who is going to win the Rumble.

I'd assume Cena will be in a title match with Sheamus getting his gold back and Undertaker will probably be facing Batista again so I'd count those 4 as not being in it.

Obvious contenders are always the likes of Orton and Triple H.  Hopefully someone's who's never won it before gets the chance.

I agree. I think Jericho has to be favourite because of the stellar work he has put in this year. Although something tells me that HBK might get one last title run and it might come at Mania or maybe a suprise Edge return.

Morrison and Kofi are outside bets.

I think MITB is a hard one to predict too alot of really good upper midcarders around at the moment.

I'll be interested to see what WWE does with the tag titles by then! Will D-X still have them? Or will they use Mania to get the titles off the "Massive" teams and gove it to someone like Hart Dynasty or Legacy.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels II  "If" that is the way they are going, doesn't need a title obviously, so 'Taker will drop the strap before then I'd assume.  I'm not 100% it will happen though.  Maybe the Tag Straps will get forgotten, or D-X split, feud and face @ Mania.

I wonder if WWE even knows what they are planning yet, last night on RAW seemed to be some of the very first steps....

I considered going to the Rumble as its only 90 mins from my house.. .but I don't know.. school night and I'll probably just watch it at home.

Cena won't win the rumble... For the love of God let it be one of the new up and comers like John Morrison *not cause I have him*

I'd be shocked if Morrison won, for the most part he's been booked recently as still being a midcarder, it's a major longshot, I'd love it but it just isn't happening.

The Rumble is wide open:

Cena - Cena will be involved in a title match at Mania almost for certain... so if he isn't a champion by then, then he is a contender. Chances : 7 Out Of 10

HBK - Could be an interesting way to set up HBK-Taker II or give HBK a shot at one last World Title run. Chances : 6 out of 10

Edge - If he's in the Rumble, he wins the Rumble. Chances : 9 out of 10

Batista - Gotta be an option. Big Heel turns usually end up with a title run. Chances : 9 out of 10

Orton - Only way he can face Cena again (as i understand it) for the title is to win something like the rumble. Chances :  7 out of 10

Chris Jericho - My personal pick to win it after a year of amazing work. I think a Cena vs Jericho match would be really a great option. But Jericho vs Sheamus doesn't have the same look to it. Chances : 9 out of 10

HHH - After last years disaster Main Event against Orton he might fancy another crack at it. And what he wants, he gets! Chances : 5 out of 10

Morrison - If they decide to go with a younger guy then Morrsion has a put in a year (at least) of solid work and would be top of the pile i'd say. Usually the younger guys win MITB @ Mania rather than the Rumble to go to Mania. Plus the fact he has a IC title match @ the rumble means its even more unlikely. Chances: 2 out of 10

Sheamus - Can't be discarded given his rise although its more likely he'll enter as champion than challenger. Chances : 2 out of 10

Miz - His rise has been..... well Awesome but headlining wrestlemania hmmm. Chances : 1 out of 10

CM Punk - Currently going nowhere and in need of a direction. Maybe this is it.... but i doubt it! Chances : 2 out of 10

Bret Hart - Enters No.30 and shocks the world.  :ohyeah: Chances: Sadly 1 out of 10

Santino - Can you afford to underestimate the current Miss Wrestlemania. Enters No.30 and before he gets to the ring the last two eliminate each other, allowing him to simply step into the ring an win the Rumble. Chances: -10000 0ut of 10

Faced off on Superstars when it was first announced, then they mentioned it again on Smackdown.

True they might have another match @ RR, but for now the next encounter is Smackdown.

I think with the current expected card being big matches, that don't really need titles or people who've been there before...

This may be the best chance for a surprise winner such as Kofi Kingston, although if he does, I don't think it'll go on last at Wrestlemania.

If you look through the winner of the Rumbles then only really Vince sticks out as being a suprise.

Its not something they usually suprise people with.

I think whats tough this year is its entirely possible that both Current champions wont walk into Mania as champions. I still think that probally Cena & Batista (or at least one) will end up as champion come Wrestlemania.

I'd still bet on one of Jericho, Edge, Batista or HBK to win it. For HBK it might be the only way for him to get his rematch against Taker.

I like the idea of people having good reasons for winning and many stories going into the match in the past the focus has been on one so it's given it away.  Mysterio and Benoit got so much focus in the build to their wins it was a given.

If you have a good 6 or 7 guys with major reasons, storyline wise to win, aside from just wanting a title shot, that'd be cool, rather than 2 people with a story and 28 other guys thrown in to make up the numbers.

Agreed. You have to have at least 4 guys with realistic chances (both storyline & company wise) going into the rumble.

I'm still holding out for a Bret Hart win :ohyeah:
