WWE Superstars:

* Melina defeated Alicia Fox. Alicia tried to head to the back, but Melina came after her and brought her back to the ring. Typical heel gets offense in before Melina picked up the win.

* Jack Swagger and Carlito beat MVP and Chris Masters. The crowd was divided for this match. Half cheered for Carlito and Swagger while others cheered MVP and Masters. Masters and Carlito got some offense in and didn't let MVP make the hot tag. Masters finally entered the match. He applied Master Lock on both opponents. However, Carlito hit the backstabber on Masters to get the win while the other two were fighting.

* Shelton Benjamin defeated Vance Archer via DQ.

* Cryme Tyme defeated The Hard Knox Connection (Mike Knox & Charlie Haas)

* Chris Masters debuted an all-new theme song during tonight's Superstars taping, reports.

WWE Smackdown

* CM Punk and Drew Gallows come out to open the show. Punk cuts a heel promo about New Year's Resolutions. It's announced Punk will face Matt Hardy in a Beat the Clock match. It's Beat the Clock night for a World Heavyweight Championship shot.

* CM Punk b. Matt Hardy in a Beat the Clock match.

* Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane ended in with a draw when neither could beat the clock.

* The Great Khali b. a local worker called the "Carolina Panther". It wasn't a Beat the Clock match and Khali won with a Punjabi Plunge.

* John Morrison b. WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre via disqualification when McIntyre pushed Morrison into the referee. McIntyre retains.

* Mickie James b. "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix with WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool and Layla on commentary. After the match, Mickie was beat down by McCool and Layla. Beth Phoenix, in an apparent babyface turn, made the save.

* Rey Mysterio b. Chris Jericho in a Beat the Clock match. Mysterio beat the clock by one second.

* The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd, David Hart-Smith & Natalya) b. Slam Master J, Jimmy Wang Yang & Maria. After the match, Natalya put Maria in the Sharpshooter.

* Batista had R-Truth beat in a Beat the Clock Match but when he was going for the pin with only a few seconds left, Rey Mysterio (who was on commentary for the bout), pulled the referee out of the ring. Vickie Guerrero set up Rey Mysterio vs. Batista for next week to determine the true number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
