Draft Analysis: WWE Game XV
« on: March 24, 2010, 11:18:21 pm »
Thoughts on the good and bad drafts across the 2 brands so far?  Which teams are shaping up strongly and which have "Wooden Spoon" written all over them.

Looking at Nitro, Eric's immediately stands out, Edge should have about 3 title reigns (going off his current rate  :hihi: ), McCool has slept her way to the top of her division, although what works against her is women are being left off PPVs more often these days, also I think this will be the make of break game for Ted DiBiase and he'll receive quite the push.

D's also looks very good, I see the sense getting Matt Hardy with a 4th pick, the "Solid Scorer" pick, but I actually sense him maybe being jobbed out since his bro is in TNA, Drew is stellar though and I'd expect a Beth reign of some sort.

On RAW, Scotta75's team is a little worrying, I don't see Daniel Bryan being a points machine, at least not a worthy #2 pick and Santino Marella barely wrestles.

Nitro League

Yankee is looking like the best.  Jericho will be a top scorer. Sheamus is in the thick of it, Rey Mysterio is 12 points a week
and on PPVs I would of taken him next if Yankee didnt take him

My least favorite: Atari legend. With Punk and Gallows    I dont see them in the Tag picture unless Morrison and Rtruth win the belts.
I dont see Triple H getting into the world title scene for awhile as there is so much blood in the mix on Raw, with HBK gone I dont see him
getting any tag belts.

Big Gambles:

Atari Legend with Punk 1st and Gallows 4th betting half his team on Straight Edge
D with his Matt Hardy 4th Round. Seems like a bargain but seriously is Vince going to push Matt at all with
Jeff starring on TNA?
Izzy getting UT and Kane, UT is a part timer at best and Kane has become a jobber, Kane before Rey or Cody?

Best Available:
(in no perticular order)

1-HBK
2-Mark Henry
3- Mickie James
4- Evan Bourne
5-Kelly Kelly / Gail Kim if you want a diva

Raw League

Fav 2 Teams:

Jim with Cena, Ted Jr, Mysterio great group of PPV and weekly scorers and potential belts on any of them before game ends.
Gnr (seems he drafts like I do) Miz, score well, Kofi seems good, on most raws, just need a good fued for him, R truth is
so over with the fans WWE has to push him, another solid 1-2-3 punch, less PPV potential but still solid.

Least Fav
Scotta: Triple H most likely won't get a world belt this game, Daniel Bryant 2nd? Before RKo, Drew or Morrison? Santino 3rd when
did he even wrestle last? Zeke 4th might be his best pick for available talent at his position. He will have to jockey to advoid
the wooden spoon, I think he is locking that honor up before the game even starts.

BIG GAMBLES:
Daniel Bryant before RKO, Drew, Morrison, Sheamus, Kofi, Ted, etc.
Beth before Michelle, Michelle is on UT last ride, I heard he Tombstones her real good, I cant see a Hard worker
like her scoring less then Beth.
CM Punk 7th overal, I see alot of talent in the 2nd round that should outscore him and more potential for belts then pUNK
UT 10th overal going into the summer we all know this is his slow season, he wont get a belt on him this game so I think
he was a huge reach.

Best Available (in no perticular order)
1- Shelton Benjamin
2- DH Smith
3-Mark  Henry
4- Mickie James / Kelly Kelly
5-HBK
