That wasn't the issue, he could have used ANY weapon, it just seemed so flat to just hit his finisher after Edge had kicked out, it was a surprise but one of those flat ending surprises rather than one of those "Holy ****! Swerve! surprises.

I think they wanted UT/HBK to be special with the false finishes etc.. and if Edge/Jericho and then Batista/Cena do a bunch of them.. it kind of cheapens it for main event. Plus the announcers were selling all night about Edge's conditioning coming off Achilles Rupture.

As I mentioned before, something like Edge passing out in Walls of Jericho would have worked to me, sold the injury, saved face etc. and the wrestling recycling rules mean most would not remember/know it was a WM13 rip off.  My point is the match with its ending just fell flat.

Taker v HBK was fun but hadn't I seen this before somehere?

Best match was cena v Batista and a good build up too - genuine feud based on being the better wrestler

Overall - hell, in a week I won't even remember having watched it, frankly I've seen eps of Raw that were better

I'm glad you brought this up because Cole is **** AWFUL.  Not only is he crap on play by play but he screws up factual events.  He was calling the Bret Hart-VKM match and gave this really retarded explanation about why Bret left in 1997.  I swear when he was on Smackdown JBL covered his ass real well to make Cole even tolerable.  Cole reminds me of a worse version of the early 90s Vince Mchmahon (the announcer).

Lawler should just go back to being the **** bastard and heel that he is truly is.  He was a lot more entertaining back then.
