Christopher Daniels released
« on: April 04, 2010, 07:44:44 pm »
After he returned to Ring of Honor last night and cut a promo about being held back for seven years, it was speculated that Christopher Daniels had been released from TNA.

The Wrestling Observer now confirms that Daniels was released earlier this week. Ring of Honor contacted Daniels immediately and signed him for some dates.

What on earth....

He fought his way up to challenge AJ Styles title, he featured in a truly superb feud and then....Bischoff takes over

Why is TNA so hell bent on killing the X Division - its the reason I started watching, it would gain them millions of fans but they do **** like this and then wonder why it gets low ratings...

...its because the best guys are dumped and you dont promote whats left

Idiots!

Cant even blame Russo as he booked Daniels in his great fued with AJ...

This is Hogan's and Easy E doing because God forbidden that X-Division steal the spotlight from Hogan and hi merry band of suck asses! Watch and see TNA will go the way of WCW unless someone steps in and kicks Hogan's and Easy E asses and stop this bullshit butchering. This the reason I sold my soul to the WWE once again because I can not stand Hogan.

This is what everyone feared would happen.

But this is really disapointing because of what Daniels has given TNA.

How you can justify giving airtime to the Nasty Boys, Xpac & Scott Hall but get rid of a trailblazer like Daniels is beyond me.

If i was people like AJ Styles & Kurt Angle i'd be going to Hogan and saying "look this is a mistake"

I mean what does this say to the locker room? It basically says that loyalty and quality work doesn't mean a thing.

Let the death of TNA begin!

Never understood how Bischoff, the ''genius'' behind the cruiserweights, is also the same guy with an identical outlook on wrestling to Vince 'big=better'.

Oh a slightly unrelated note - I have no problem with X Pac, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash getting air time - they are all fantastic on the mic and have a role to play. There really is time for everyone - quite how 1 hr and 40 mins each week goes on promos I have no idea...

I do, coz it takes away from time of guys like Daniels. Lets see some new people on the mic, who might be great. If you have excess time then fair enough, but not instead of....

TNA needs a 5 year plan.... and i just don't see how they along with some others are gonna help them in the long run. They seem to want instant progression. Its not how it works.

Create Stars.... and people will care. If you use washed up WWE guys (not guys like Hardy, Angle & RVD) you'll get nowhere.

Even though he stills the show in the ring, creatively, as a character, he's been blundered from one writer to the next, repackaged, completely overhauled, they have just not known what to do with him, for me, his peak in TNA was in the earlier days when he was the gothic like character "The Fallen Angel", complete with Marilyn Manson music, and part of the once formiddable, but often forgotten Triple X.
